The performance of the app is a bit sluggish compared to Kyle's version. Is there any pixel filtering going on? If so, can we have an option to disable that (iPad 3)? Otherwise, great app and great game!

I have a question. Sometimes I hit home, and when I come back, it's right where I left off, other times it goes to the home screen. Is this something that can be fixed so that it always goes back to where I was?

I've very rarely seen this, but is it possible to mod the keyboard to make it at least partially transparent, there are a fair # of mods that have text boxes at the bottom of the screen and you can read them as you type.

It seems the keyboard gets stuck on shift when typing. If I hit shift then type, it treats it like caps lock and everything is caps, even though I had only tapped shift once, and the keyboard indicator stays on the shift, but it's not the caps lock on. I'll send a screenshot later tonight.

You can attempt to disable sth in preferences/display and i will continuous improve performance.

This is normal. IOS may recover memory automaticly when the app goto background.When IOS recover my app's memory,you need to restart this game and it goes to the home screen.
Is it necessary to auto-save when you left off?.

I know your feeling.it is upset when i type and the keyboard cover my text.i want to raise the view like ios native ui when i type

This may be a bug,Thanks for your report. ps: i can't find shift in my keyboard :(

Here are the screenies.
You can see the "shift" key is lit up but not blue to indicate the "locked", yet it's behaving like caps.

Thank you, i reproduce this problem and i think this is low-priority. i fixed add-ons bug in iphone yesterday and work for menu (ios style) now. :D

I have a bug in multiplayer with a random map, you cannot change settings for the map; eg. how big the map is ect. Screenshot attached.
You can see the beginnings of a button right below the era select, but no way to push the button.

I've verified issue is isolated to iPhone version, iPad unaffected

Because my apple account is different from KP who seems to abandon ios version in 2 years, i can't help u to update the game from the previous one.

So after paying 3,99€ the original release, where the project collected $40.000 and never managed to push for an updated version for their paying customers we now get to pay another 3,99€ ? This is the first app that tries to charge for an update, leave alone for the price of the original game. Wow.

That's not fair to Dailin or the Wesnoth Team. The wesnoth team begged KP for an update for 2 year, as did the rest of us. KP moved on to "Pay to play" games and has ignored our requests.

Dailin is not KP, he has decided to take upon himself to get us a new version and had to start from scratch. All the work he's done is his own.

The source code is available and KP has said he will be using Dailin's work to update his version. If you have a problem with KP, tell KP. according to KP an update will be coming to his version using dailin's code anyday now, so you can just keep waiting for KP if you want.

Me, I'll gladly pay if for no other reason than to show my appreciation to dailin for giving us support again after KP gave up on us 2 years ago.

Do you mean menu scrolling? I rm the feature in this version because it cause too much bugs.After i fix all menu bugs,i will add it to next version.

Yeah, like for selecting campaigns and such, It's not as huge of a deal, the gameplay isn't affected really.

Played wesnoth with my friend the other day on my ipad, just told my ipad not to autolock, left everything running and didn't have any problems, didn't play for very long. I'll start timing stuff and that way I can say "played for x hours on multiplayer with PC and no problems"

The game crashes whenever a mermaid uses the water spray attack.

I am on the map The Army of Darkness from the add-on Legend of the Invincibles in chapter 2.
