I found it on the Mac Addict CD. I've found it quite fun, once i got over trying to play it like warcraft.

I found out about it through AT, and am here to spread my craziness through the game!
Oh, by the way, if any of you think AT is crazy, you need to meet me
From AoA and invited by AT, I am here to make sure craziness reigns over all

crazy?

Post by AT »

I'm actaully not regarded as that crazy here: you should talk to Elvish Pillager.
Gandalf-"I am a servant of the Secret Fire, wielder of the Flame of Anor. You cannot pass. The dark fire will not avail you, flame of Udun. Go back to the Shadow. You cannot pass!"
AT- "That sounds like more trouble than it's worth."

I think it was a 0.4 or earlier version which I found while surfing for a good tabletop strategy-style game.
as kingfishers catch fire
so dragonflies draw flame

Probably mine. I'm Zealous Inquisitor over there.
It's all fun and games until someone loses a lawsuit. Oh, and by the way, sending me private messages won't work. :/ If you must contact me, there's an e-mail address listed on the website in my profile.

Version 0.7.5 was reviewed in the July issue of Linux Format magazine (a UK monthly) and included on the cover CD.

Google: Googling for "Empire fantasy game"

Post by khurrad »

I was thinking about programming an "Empire"-clone with a fantasy setting. It should avoid some of the weaknesses and omittances of Empire: not too many units in the end, experience levels for units, leaders, a good campaign.

Luckily I googled before starting to draft and code. And I found "Battle for Wesnoth". It has hexes but otherwise it is nearly perfect.
