Hello,

Is it possible to prolong 3rd round for 1 extra week -- we should play 5 maps here and 2/4 pairs were unable to start their matches in time (19th May). By this time me and Tarus still didn't sheduled our games -- you now, he's from Canada and I am from Europe, it will be difficult to play 5 matches in 4 days left (working days) without loosing quality of games (and fun, btw). As i know 2nd pair is not even formed as soon as Pietro and Cackfiend are still playing 2nd round.

So, isn't it better to officially prolong it rather than to be in constant hurry and still late?

Anyway, I will accept any your decision without additionl questions, Doc. :P

Regards, Pagan

You know, it's funny, this certainly makes sense, and reminds me that I gave two weeks for all rounds past the second round (three and up), in both previous TOCs. Silly me for forgetting about that. :P So yes, indeed, two weeks it will be.

I understand that Cackfiend and Pietro have some sort of special arrangement where the deciding game will be played on Wednesday. I want everyone to make sure that the Round Three matches of the winner of that series finish by this upcoming Saturday. Things are a little looser now that we're past the initial rounds, but I still want to keep things from getting bogged down, so I will make advancement rulings, if necessary.

it's tuesday actually, after pietro is done with finals :D
Ah, okay. What I'd originally heard was that it would be "done by Wednesday," which is somewhat ambiguous. Sounds cool to me.

Just do the best you can to finish is promptly as possible. That is all that really matters at this point. Remember it is typically 3 or 4 matches anyway, it doesn't often go to 5.

Hi,
For now i'm leading 2 : 0 vs Taurus, but the last match we played was 26th May (Saturday). We have 12 hours time difference. Also, Taurus was very busy, especially for a last week. In addition my switch was burnt by lightning in last Thursday's night -- the only day when Taurus was free and there was a chance to play 3rd game.

So, sorry for delay, ereksos. And take congratulations about a victory over Cackfiend. Haven't seen the replays yet, but you should have done a great job -- Cackfiend demonstrated an increadible gameplay in previous rounds and even won facing loyslists with drakes (in spite it seems for me that an easy victory in the last game wouldn't be possible without some really GREAT luck).

Regards, Pagan

P.S. It seems like because of one more crash of forum last Gallifax's posts have disappeared :( . Hope they will be posted again soon -- it should be really intresting games.

2-0 is a big lead. in order for taurus to beat you, you guys will have to find time to play 3 games before wednesday, which is probably very hard for both of you.
as the dateline is over, you can choose to advance due to the reason explained above. i am sure, given the circumstances, taurus will understand, it will just save both of you lotsa time. :)
just my 2 cents.

for the game, i am available from 0000gmt to 0400gmt and 0900 to 1200, but please tell me in advance. also tell me when you will be available.

i choose to reply it here so that all can give their suggestions openly.

Deadline is coming...

Post by Zlodzei »

Hi,

2 Taurus:

If we want to finish our match in time we should play at least 1 game (better 2) next morning ( 6th June). I will wait for you in 5.00 GMT. If you aren't able to come we will loose the last chance to finish it via normal way.
