The rest. Of course, these are nowhere near mainline-quality or mainline style, but perhaps some UMC authors can use them...

EDIT: More stuff, including a custom terrain (which, believe it or not, really is seamless).

Bazooka looks like a weird SMG (Why is there an Ammo clip in the front?)

The hilt on the Saber is too wide compared to the blade I think, and the perspective on the hnadguard looks a little funky

It's not really a bazooka, more of a sub-machine gun or something.

:? I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. Funky as in how?

I'm working on a new unit, but I can't seem to get the shading on this armor quite right. It's supposed to be made completely out of rubies laid in gold, but it just doesn't look like that to me...

The tarpit... black water... thorny vines... terrain looks really cool, but I can't tell what it is, and it isn't seamless. There is a repeating square shape I'm afraid.

Did you see this?

About the terrain: there is a vertical line of brighter pixels, somewhere near the bottom center of the pattern (appears twice in a hex, because the pattern repeats).

Erm... actually, I used that very tutorial to create the terrain... :|

Stupid GIMP patterns (if their patterns had really been seamless, this woulda been perfect)... I guess I ought to make several variations in order to x the square pattern, but it'll kinda hard doing it freehand, and probably not all that seamless. :(

Making terrain is a pain where it hurts most, but I can't keep myself from trying it. :P

Yeah your square must not have been completely seamless to start. :(

Hey Artistic, I think You are making some great improvements, but. If you want to maker that armor look more like gold:

1. Add some detail.

2. Turn the armor color to a more yellowish color. That will make it look more realistic.

3. Add some cracks and stuff to the armor to make it look more rough.

4. Make it a bit larger..... Maybe even a lot larger, no normal sized human or elf(or even dwarf) could fit in a piece of armor that small....... And, make the armor so that it face the SW angle like normal Westhothian sprites.

Just a bit of my critique/comment.

EDIT: I attached a gold colorswatch. You should probably use this for the best results.

EDIT 2: I'm attaching a re-colored version of the armor.

That doesn't strike me as a terribly good gold colour swatch. You need some white at the top levels, and some orange and red at the lower registers. That's a good yellow plastic swatch. Get some gold colours off the mainline sprites such as the Marshall or Grand Knight for good gold =)

Gah, now why didn't I think of that? I've done it before for other work, but this time it went right past me. Thanks, tsi. :)

While I fix that, here's a little something I did (the head is a horrible frankenstein, I'm gonna replace that).

The long, thin strip of armour hanging down between her legs has... somewhat concerning overtones... Might I suggest removing it, or giving her a full set of hip armour - it's not like that thing is gonna do much anyway.

 :augh: Holy Moley... (feels sick) I hate these situations!

Right... temporarily fixed that above. That was weird, but you're right about that piece of armor serving no real purpose... I just thought it might make the armor more exotic looking or something. I guess need to better my art skills so as to preserve my and other's health...

Muuuch better.

Generally, don't try to do things JUST cos they'll look cool. Research, and find something that looks cool AND is practical ;)

Can I use that for a +female variant of the swordsman you gave me?

EDIT: Space invader thanks for that reference I think those colors would be much better then mine.

Good advice, I'll live by that from now on. :)

@dipseydoodle: Well, it isn't finished yet... I've gotta go over the head and redo the mail skirt (perhaps add pauldrons as well, and some other tweaks), but you're welcome to use it when I finish it. :)
