I know the intention is a perspective thing, but you're overdoing (again
) it on making the rear leg shorter than the front leg. Knock a pixel, maybe even two, out of the nearer thigh. Maybe make the foot a pixel shorter, as well.
Otherwise, awesome work. Very nice use of contrasting shading on the metals, it adds a lot of realism.

That's... That's...

Heck, that's like straight out of... of... some game that hires artists with like 100 year experience of making sprites, and pay them like 100 million euros and then the artists say "I want 10000 million euros, then I'll do it." and then they get that horrible much money and go buy something boring and smoke cigars!

Check out my sprites!

Woodmouse, you really don't have to start worshipping Zero

Oho, first post? I see. Even though your suggestion was a bit late. Like, a few months too late.
Also, I have no idea what woodmouse was trying to convey to me, so that's okay

I'm confused by what you meant... But I'll take a guess.
The fact that SNAKuyun is using an avatar of yours would imply much respect. She was also being quite snarky with that comment.

And the snarkiness.. Yeah, that's about how our relationship goes most of the time.Gambit wrote:No. Especially when it was designed specifically for her.

Here PK, an initial offering. It's kinda rough and not my best work but whatever. Assemble and disassemble as needed. Cannoneer not included.
Whether I'll get around to the other ones is yet to be seen.

I wish I could make sprites like that. Really.

Whoa. :O Did I just get props from Shadowmaster himself?
If I'm ever un-lazy enough to make a proper credits list about which sources have inspired me to sprite, you'd get a place on there. Along with TSI and Jet. And several videogames. And several pixelart-based websites.
Actually, you know what? That's a good idea. I'll get around to it someday.

Awesome like allways. Perspective is looking cool but not the functional for a game like wesnoth in my humble and uneducated opinion as a non-artist.
Can I suggest the Akladian challenge to you? There would be 6 different lines of 3 units (healer, leader, night, day, fast and standard fighter). That would be 18 units. Animations not essential right now.
Akladians are evil super humans from the campaign "A new Order" (ANO).
