My Elvish Gryphon Rider with the Hit and Run AMLA on its bow lost hit and run when I took the Parry AMLA from Legacy of the Free, and hasn't gotten it back after another level. Is this intended?

That bug was already fixed and will be a part of the next version. Don't take that AMLA if you have some weapon specials to lose (except those added by gear) for now.

I always expected, that Lilith comes from the same myth in those two games, from first wife of Adams.
In bloodlines (the world is called World of darkness, originaly it is some kind of board, or card game, I never understood it s rules, but I love the world authors have created. http://whitewolf.wikia.com/wiki/Caine )

Also, could you please upload the version of LOTI with bug fixes- for example with Frostbite working as it should, parry not removing other skills in legacy of Free...
I d like to test it.

Seems these guys based most of it on actual mythology. Not just the well-known story of Cain slaying Abel with a jackass' jawbone, but also Lilith being the disobedient first wife of Adam, Cain getting cursed with a mark that changed him were somewhere there. What happened later to Lilith and what did Cain's mark is a matter of interpretation. For example old English folklore (Christianised) tells that Cain bred orcs and goblins. I just took Lilith's name and some characteristics, but not the actual story.

I will upload it in a significantly shorter time than it took me to upload the last update. For now, I lack feedback about the AI improvements. In theory, AI should no longer attack what it is not supposed to attack and use its leader more wisely (I was not able to test all the scenarios, I just verified that it's not broken). Did someone notice this? All I see is that I am no longer getting reports about bad AI, but that is not any evidence of actual improvement.

The leaders dont attack my units in most cases. Just once, Drakonid leader 8 lvl, attack Lethalia- she was standing nearby his castle. ANd they both were equaly strong.

To Dugi,

So,about my ideas:
1.(The trader)I never knew about that.I really don't pay attention to gold carryover percentage.
2.(Purifying undead demon)How about that demon from purifying undead demon only get one demon trait, regular human trait or no trait at all?
3.(Legacy of Light)I think that Legacy of Light is a little weak than another legacy that I know.Maybe Anarchy or Lightbeam can be included in Legacy of Light AMLA?

And,
1.If a Elvish Juggernaut get Legacy of Titans,he gets two kind regeneration AMLA(the 6+ from original AMLA and 8+ from Legacy of Titans). Can the AMLA be appended to one AMLA?
2.If a unit that already have illuminates(like Celestial Messenger) and lawul unit have Legacy of Light, the AMLA to get illumninates and became lawful from Legacy of Light still available, can the AMLA changed to other AMLA that useful?

And thank you for the info you gave me earlier :) .

2. Demons are significantly an enemy-only unit. Their damage depends on difficulty. They have a huge reservoir of life. Even without traits they might advance to a huge level and have 150 hitpoints and 19-5 fireball damage (on hard, it's 13 on easy, but that's still much).
3. Lightbeam could me. Anarchy does not fit there in my opinion.
1. I could do it, but I think that it would make him too strong. Maybe somebody more experienced with gameplay could correct me if I am wrong.
2. #2 There is a lot of cases where a legacy gives the same bonuses that the unit can naturally have and if they could stack, it would be really powerful. If you want to learn the legacy, better learn it as soon as possible so that you could pick a well suited AMLA.

I think that Legacy of Light is really cool now. Lawfull unit can get +40/50 (i am not sure) bonus to his attack, and also can heal +24hp a round. The truth is, that Purify is useless skill in in chapter 9 and 10, but it is usefull in every other campain.
Btw: It is probably the strongest spell in a game, making someone to come back to life? Efraim and Leth didnt have to bother about Fenix´s ash, but just let one of their unit to purify them... But they wouldnt be gods, I know...
This spell is really weird, cause being Undead is no curse, whichc cant be backed.
To Jougernautt:
I dont really use him, he has nothing usefull in compare with swordman, or Orcish overlord, or Lich king. And he lack usefull resistances.
P.S: How about giving us possibility to choose units (for expample even one, or two.) in scenario Gladiatrix? It would by nice change to choose some unit I cant have in o ther way...

Edit: Dragon is running away from me...

If an enemy is plagued and you purify the zombie, you will not get the unit back. It's like creating a new life, not real resurrection.
Delicius169 wrote: dont really use him, he has nothing usefull in compare with swordman, or Orcish overlord, or Lich king. And he lack usefull resistances.
That's why his regeneration was added. Should I make it stronger?

Some of them have their own dialogue lines that are tailored to their types, for example that Battlerager is only interested in combat. Furthermore, neither of your units decides who is in your party. You can get one of them killed and he'll be replaced by another unit type in the next scenario.

____________
I have made an update with the bug fixes. I have also added 5 new items and improved some dialogues as usually.

Legacy of Light does give 50%+ to lawful unit, but it gives 50%- to chaotic unit(Sometimes,I have to finish enemy unit with unit that have Legacy of Light and a chaotic unit). And,I dont really use Elvish Juggernaut very much.I'm mainly using my Shadowalker that have equipped with Dugi's Wrath and Raijer's Bloody Field. He can go solo, but the main problem is his resistant to cold is not so poweful,so after defeating a large amount of enemy,he will die if hit by chill wave from demon with chilling and cold trait  .Any tips for item that can increase cold resistance?

I think Anarchy would be make sense because it only give 50%+ bonus to lawful units. And why is that?

And,berserk + whirlwind + soul annihilation/soul extraction/and other weapon special that can instantly kill enemy can kill Abaddon even if the weapon type that used against him is not his weakness at time.

Zim: There is a weapon which gives +40 resistance to cold and -10resistances to fire. It is not expensive. You can craft it as crossbow.

Dugi:
To Gladiatrix: thanks for response, I ll definitly try to lose some unit next time... :-)

To purify: Creating new life is definitly very strong and difficult spell. And poor purifited units, they had no childhood. :(

LIttle question: There was a book, i think Serendity?, in description it said that No one knows what he ll learn from it. Is it still in game? I havent seen it long time.
And thanks for update. Gonna try.

To everyone:
Do you use crafting Armours? I cannt help, but I think that it is easier to find good boots/gauntles/ helms, then craft them. I am using only Lighting agility for +2 MP.

I use Purity and Deflector of Light for my neutral units. The Intoxicator is good too to give slow to Efraim/Lethalia/other units.

Until Regen is as strong as you can get from heal other, regen isn't too strong. Even then, start of turn healing is not nearly as valuable as combat healing or damage prevention. Regen from other sources doesn't generally stack, so I don't see why it should stack from Juggernaut and Titans.

I don't typically use Legacy of Light, but the potential damage increase (which stacks on top of other damage increase) often makes me tempted.

A Legacy being of little value for a unit is unsurprising. If you don't like the legacy you get, create another instance of the same unit type. After the early stages, it is pretty easy to get a unit to Legacy discovery. It is really easy if you have already leveled up buffing units, like someone with Legacy of Kings (or Duke, or other leader, or Prophet).

Serendipity is out there, I have found it in my game. I've never read it though.
--------------------------------
I craft armours all the time. Intoxicator is perhaps the best crafted items of any sort and I use it on multiple units. I put Murderlust on almost every unit. Dugi's Ward is totally worth the cost. Chaos and Hatred are nice, but their cost means I almost never use them. I have used Sorcery and Spell Devourer repeatedly. I use Dying Dreams for suck, or Purity for alignment changing. My biggest buffing unit has Art of War.
The only ones I have never crafted are Defensive Stance, Blood Revenge, Shiverbringer or Spiritual Presence.

Weapons are what I don't craft. Sure I've used the cheap ones (Kondrad's Might, Equality, Soul Hunter, Malice), but that's about it. I have a guy with multiple Essence of Magic, and I used Marrowrend regularly before the suck was reduced, but I haven't touched anything else. I keep meaning to build a guy to use Soul Render or Dugi's Wrath (playing Last Crusade in chapter 9, so I have crazy gem counts), but haven't done it.
--------------------------------
AI
I see no change in leader activity. They don't move, but they will sometimes attack someone next to them.

On a mildly related note, can someone explain what drives the AI to choose melee or ranged? I have a Swordmaster who is hit in melee only 10% of the time (Fencer's Study, Magical Swordplay, equipment, Struggle). They really cannot hurt him in melee. Yet the Demons, who have magical ranged attacks that actually hit (70% vs 10%!), still often attack him in melee. He has Mask of Insanity for melee Berserk (2), Dark Dragon breath attack at ranged, and his resistances are constantly maxed by buffing units, but I cannot find any logic by which melee would be the right choice.

I used Defensive Stance for scenarios8/09_Gladiatrix-The_Path_to_Glory to equip the other gladiators. In an arena you don't need to move quickly.

I am currently in scenarios5/08_Entrance and the leader never attacks. With his income of 50 gold, the high item drop probability of chapter 5, and the infinite number of turns, it is a level very suited for gaining huge amounts of xp.

He should be immune to these effects. Together with Lilith, Niflheim and other big bads. Have you noticed him dying from that?
Delicius169 wrote:To purify: Creating new life is definitly very strong and difficult spell. And poor purifited units, they had no childhood.
Have you found all the secrets and talked to the bigger bad in chapter 9? He will explain why this is valid.
Delicius169 wrote:There was a book, i think Serendity?, in description it said that No one knows what he ll learn from it. Is it still in game? I havent seen it long time.
It should be still there. It's called Serendipity. It is an actual English word.
dabber wrote:I see no change in leader activity. They don't move, but they will sometimes attack someone next to them.
The AI should use its leader only if all other units had attacked and attacking does not require moving somewhere where it might be very dangerous. Your way of approaching the keep might keep him discouraged from attacking.
dabber wrote:On a mildly related note, can someone explain what drives the AI to choose melee or ranged?
To accelerate things, the AI does not always do the combat calculations, it often uses some typical values. As a result, it might be lazy to calculate some values and make an unstrategic move.

Hate to say it, but you are close to the end of part I. You will have to start part II from scratch anyway.
