to make her look cool--plus she was going to be the shyde, and I was thinking of showing the fairy touch thing, but I left it their when I decided to make her the druid.

I can fix the orcs mouth, and yes I see the problems with elf dude.

I thought that the druidess' shoulder looked fine, but if people think its too masculine I'll change it.

Sorry it took so long to reply--ATTglobal just merged with Southern Bell, and they killed our internet connection for the most part.

I stand by my earlier statement that her arm being too muscular would be fixed by giving her a long-sleeved shirt. And, the confusion about the thing at the end of her arm would be resolved - it would just be the cuff of her shirt. And I think it would look a lot better overall.

Oh, I see... :? That's a strange way to do it. It gets kind of confusing - it would be best, IMHO, if you would just repost it. (And BTW, you don't have to edit a post to delete the attachment. Go to your profile (NOT through the "profile" at the top of the screen, though), then click "user attachment control panel".)


I think the image is better. The sword looks really horizontal... it might not be a problem, but it looks odd to me.

Here's an attempt to improve the druid portrait. It's pretty good already, and I'm not sure my changes are an improvement - but I think they are.

So now she's wearing body paint? ;)

I'm afraid the skintight shirt effect doesn't really work well with the loose, flowing skirt.

I agree, but I agree ish about the shading, I couldn't flip it properly :(
I see what long draped sleeves look like, but I'll have to redraw. another :(


just, I can't seem to get outlines right, they don't look good. Any Advice?

Sorry, but the long-sleeves are way out of place. Not only that but they don't look good either.

In regards to this picture: the left bicep is too small (his arm, not the muscle). Also, he is hunching forward where you would imagine a leader holding his shoulders back while thrusting out his chest majestically.

You don't need to go so far, but right now you have the antithesis of that image.

I don't think Wesnoth has spandex, turin. I actually supported the chest-cloth on this one, but the shoulder having a thinner/softer line would be appreciated.

That magical ball needs touch-ups, but base coloring seems fine.

I wasn't saying to use my edit, it was to give an idea of what it would look like. :roll: The main part to look at is the transition between wierd cuff thing and shirt (better now than when it was between wierd cuff thing and skin, IMHO).
