Am I the only one who thinks that the old continent is a little crowded? Or do I have the scale wrong?

Not really, it probably just seems that way because of the amount of data on the map, once it's zoomed in it's not very crowded, like if you were to take a map of california, and put every city on it, it would look like that, when, realistically, it's not as crowded as it looks on the map(even though it is pretty crowded.
Sorry for the meaningless post

Here's the new info after realizing where the SG campaign actually is located at:

It looks like my area is secure. =)

If it's alright to make some comments on that map...

Rivers should flow from the mountains to the sea; mountains come in ranges, not patches and are generally the result of two plates crashing into each other...

I like how the mountains look. I'm not sure what program you're using for drawing the map, but for the coastline it may be best have the program make an automatic border, like Outer Glow in Photoshop.

So, put some more diminuitive mountains between the two north patches.
It's all fun and games until someone loses a lawsuit. Oh, and by the way, sending me private messages won't work. :/ If you must contact me, there's an e-mail address listed on the website in my profile.

Yeah sure, your one of the people who inspired it and as i say, it's a work in progress. I'm thinking of making more mountains and just scaling them down, otherwise it'll be tricky.

I have 2 rivers one from mountains and one from hills. Both as far as i'm aware are possible.

I'm using the GIMP to make it. If you could do something about the border that'd be fabulous. I can even send you a photoshop file.

I have one big question. How am i meant to do trees at this scale..... I probably have enough pixels (working at double this resolution) to draw them but.....

If you want to give me more advice we should perhaps talk in PM rather then hijacking. I'm sorry that i did btw.

Would it be allowed if I placed my second faction on an island far from wesnoth that's part of a completly different continent/world? I am not adding a map or anything just curious if it's allowed since this game is called "wesnoth" and this place wouldn't be part of wesnoth, but they may come in contact with wesnoth at some point or another...

Sure, it would be allowed... After all, the Old Continent is not Wesnoth.

Well yeah, but seeing as the king/prince of that country founded wesnoth it makes sense to include it...

:? I don't get it... oh well.

Actually, the prince of the Green Isle founded Wesnoth. His people came from the Old Continent, yes, but that was some 200 years before the earliest campaign in Wesnoth history.
