Anti-Gryphon thread

I liked the ideas for changes to the griphons to make them more strategically interesting.
One thing I really notice about griphons that's a big downfall is the cost.. and it's the dwarves only scout. I was playing a game last night on a 6 player map with 4 players.. leaves lots of villages! One guy played undead and could take over the houses with cheap bats.. I could only afford 2 griphons and so I couldn't take/hold the houses to get a good income.
So that lends itself to the map making a big difference..
