Been having fun with free Karthus, Singed, and Kog'Maw week :D

Last game as Singed, I was solo laning vs Nasus and Tryndamere. Any time I wanted, I could turn on poison and walk forward and they'd scatter back. Was hilarious! And then of course, late game the feelings of sheer indestructibility... It was super cool. I was able to push mid by myself while everyone else on the team got Baron. They didn't try and touch me at all.

Jumping back a bit to the Nasus conversation. His damage is lower early game as he lacks a decent steroid; that most melee DPS have, which makes him a bit more item reliant - as his steriod is Siphoning strike which requires you to farm it up. So, Nasus can either do quite badly or really wel, the trick is farm.

If you have a support champion then try and lane with them (Nasus and Soraka is just unfair to the other team), the support takes no creep kills and you just farm. Or take a 2v1 or 1v1 lane. Nasus is not really a tank, although he does benefit somewhat from getting some tank (I normally run him with 21 in defence and getting an aegis). I get Trinity force and then head for black cleaver for the attack speed.

Personally, I've done better on those games with Nasus where I haven't gotten the Aegis and instead rushed Trinity Force items. However, this might be more due to the fact that I'm gaining experience with his other aspects as well.

P.S. Did anyone at Riot stop to consider the consequences of making both Sion and Taric free during the same week? ^_^

Played a game with not only that combo, but an Udyr thrown in as jungle. ^_^

Sion and Taric were actually pretty bad. We ended lane phase 11 kill to 27 deaths; most of them Taric and Sion. Enter teamfight phase: They couldn't touch us. We mopped them up every time. 3 easy to target stuns ended it for their Veigar, and he was the only threat on their team (due to being the only combo of ranged CC and damage; Ez had no CC and Xin had no range).

that just sounds like you had a lot more cc than they did actually. reminds me of a match in which my team had 2 suppressions, 2 knockups, and a stun. whoever we decided to focus died, and there wasn't a thing they could do about it :lol2:

I wrote another guide. This one for my favorite champ, Akali, so it has been thoroughly tested.

Hopefully this guide will merit the upvote that my fragile ego is shamelessly seeking. 8)

I'm not sure offhand. I don't want to disappoint so I won't speculate, but it won't be negligible :)

So I had an interesting match a few hours ago where I went 37/9/15 and still lost. Guess it just goes to show that there are some people who truly deserve to be at 600 elo
