so maany dwarves in so short posts as you have seen Assasin there are all your dwarves along with the ones not added there (the nobles) which are added here

so many dwarves and what a wierd avatar

thanks raven, I'll probably use those you posted for some special dwarf clan leaders, I found a good drawing of a dwarf grand lord in the art thread you posted.

Rebels always win? Odd, when i played against the computer i killed them. I think it might be because the ai of the dark elves is off. But I like Doc Pat's offer to help test them, the cpu vs. cpu thing just doesn't work that well. And I've changed the stats of the enchantress, fighter, lizard-rider, and wizard by the way, the changes will be out in version 0.4.1 sometime.

okay guys, we have get our brains cranking. I really need a good name for the "tinker" wizard. Never mind the stats, that can be solved later, i need the name for script and coding purposes. I've raked my brain back and forth but no good. probably from overkill. So i really, like really, need your help.
I speak what's on my mind.

won't be able to help right now, because of a special school program which is using 12 physics on 6 students while we are only in grade 8, so i am sorta brain fried for the next 2 weeks

I tried a chess like test with a quite minimal map.

I'd make the lizard cost about 3 more gold and I'd reduce a bit the mage hp (or raise the cost).

the stats I were using are a bit different from the current ones =/

Currently they have too much defense overall.

i guess I'll have to make the lizard-rider weaker then, because I really don't want him to cost any more then it does. it would be too expensive.

what i don't like about that is it has a powerful range compared to the original line and a better melee as well so i think it should be about


lv2
Melee (fire, blade)
9-3

Ranged (fire)
8-2

lv3
Melee (fire,blade)
10-4

Ranged (fire)
10-2

So it balances that you are not getting a powerful unit if you choose magic swordsman because the normal lv3 line has only 12-3 for ranged and you gave the lv 3 for this 22-2 and that is bad, each line must always have a weakness and a better strength

Has anyone else been having trouble with the fourth level, Chosen Path? As far as I can tell, I have defeated all the Dwarves before turn 20, but the level does not end, when Trianna comes they talk about having Dwarves to kill, and at turn 40 it says I have been defeated. I don't understand what the problem is. My soldiers have trekked over the whole level, and I don't see any other Dwarves.

Did you download version 0.4.0? We fixed the problem



and it's Traya, not Trianna :wink:

I've noticed that too.

Also, given that the Dwarves are the main enemy in the Dark Elf campaign, maybe the Dark Elf units shouldn't be nerfed all that much. Perhaps there should be multiplayer-only level "0.5" versions of the Dark Elf units.

I downloaded A New Threat, thought I'd try it out, and there is no image for the Dark Elf Warriors... Which is a problem, because I can't tell where my units are. Nothing shows up; no stat bar, no energy orb, nothing. Is this a known problem, or am I a freak?
