There was a bug in 0.9.3 that caused it to. (This was fixed in 0.9.4.)Ankka wrote:But AMLA doesn't give instant healing.Ave wrote:The best in AMLA is not the additional 3 hp's but the instant healingif granted.

Well, the healing thing was fixed.Ave wrote:Sure it has, if that healing thingie was a bug, then i have to agree, the AMLA doesn't really worth it anywayAnkka wrote:Oh. But that has nothing to do with the current situation, now does it?
And, I agree on AMLA being pretty useless. It was great before AMLA. No better now, really, except you can get 100+hp- Grand knights, for instance...

haven't played this one in a while, but liking it. congrats.
as with others, i have too much gold after round 5. this is nice, as i can follow the story, and not worry too much about losing my high level units to the sneaky dwarves, but i think it can be toned down some.
oh and great portraits too.
but the fire mage's doesn't fire by round 4 or so. she's hot

Nice campaign. Has a very distinctive style, which is good.
haven't finished, so I'll just drop in with some bugfix comments. The undead riders in Chapter 3 have the wrong resistances (ie they resist holy 20% and are weak to pierce, which is the status quo for normal mounted units). Maybe they could become undeadfoot, albeit very fast undeadfoot.

A witty saying proves nothing.

Thanks. I will go back and change the resistances for the undead riders to something more appropriate.blackjack wrote:Nice campaign. Has a very distinctive style, which is good.

I am getting very close to releasing the conclusion of UTBS. I hope to have something reading in a week or two. Thanks for everyone's support.

Under the Burning Suns v0.5.3 has been released!
I've just uploaded version 0.5.3 to the campaign server. This update contains several new pieces of artwork. Pickslide has made some beautiful portraits for godess Eloh, and the mysterious Cloaked Figure that chases Kaleh throughout the underground tunnels.
Also Scott has made some amazing time of day images for the new world of this campaign. I am so happy to be able to replace my placeholder images with some real artwork. I'm really impressed by scott's artwork, especially the dawn and dusk images. Also just by glancing at the image, players can now tell the difference between the first and second days.
I was just going to hold off and release the new artwork with the final scenario, but then I realize that it was all just so pretty that I shouldn't make people wait. The conclusion of UTBS should be released soon.
I also edited the Skeleton Rider's resistances for the undead horseman to make them more appropriate for an undead unit.
0.5.3 changelog:
-added portraits for Cloaked Figure and Eloh
-added new time of day images
scenario 3:
-fixed Skeleton Rider's resistances to be a cross between mounted and undeadfoot type

A day later, 0.5.4 has been released.
This is a quick update to add some changes scott made to the long night images, and to fix a few small bugs. I've also decided to put the German and Swedish translation files back into the campaign package. If this causes anyone's program to crash, just remove the translation folder. But hopefully they should be save now.
Enjoy!

There's a small point missing - report the crash to the Forum or in the #wesnoth-dev IRC channel! Wesnoth is very close to 1.0 and having crash bugs remain would be rather bad.quartex wrote:If this causes anyone's program to crash, just remove the translation folder.

Hello. I installed 0.5.4 and in the first scenario (with wesnoth 0.9.7) the two desert hunters doesn't show up. I can play with them but the graphic is transparent... when I started playing I thought they were some kind of spy, but now I realize this is a bug, since I can see those type of units in the next scenarios.
As I've said in another threat, my impression of this campaign is very good, again, congrats

Minor typos
1. 5Struggle.cfg:
I don't know that 'they' are, but we can't go back. Prepare yourselves for anything, everyone.
that -> what, I presume.
2. 5Struggle.cfg:
Elves? What is the nine hells are Elves doing down here?
3. 5Struggle.cfg:
Argh! Cure you! May you never leave these tunnels alive!
6aDwartf.cfg:
With some help from the dwarves I have to made this fire blade for you.
6bTrolll.cfg:
- First line is wrong.
PS. 5Struggle.cfg is an impressive piece of work, 150 kBytes of WML. (I see you've done quite as much on the 7th scenario, but I won't take a peek at that yet.

Still a couple:
