Just let me say thanks for Your hard work on that campaign!

I especially like a.) the "special" scenarios (like escape from the sea or slavery) and b.) the neutral unit implementation.

Looking forward for FfF II! And don' t let Yourself be distracted by people with just an anti-drakish attitude ...

Saving Elensefar and Wesvoid both have levels at sea also, and Wesvoid hints at slavery at one point.

I would like to expand the neutral unit implementation to cover the entire campaign, but I can't think of ideas for animals that would inhabit Morogor and the Isle of Storms (I do not want most Wesnothian animals there).

I don't think I'll make a sequel because of school, but I may come out with another campaign. I am thinking about making it involve woses, but don't hold your breath for a pretty good while.

If I ever do make this wose campaign, I will have anti-wose people hounding me too :) .

Two other things:
1. TVU, how do the maps of Morogor look? I am a little unsure of whether the crosses and dots are in their correct location, and if you have made it past Blockade, can you please tell me if they are in a reasonable location?

2. I have found a minor bug in Drake Escape. Kogw is not recalled at the beginning of the scenario, and you have to recall him yourself. I will fix this in the next version, although I am holding out for 0.8.11 before I release it, because I will need to change stuff for .8.11 anyway.

The Wose campaign, if I ever make it, will be much shorter than this. However, I probably won't for at least a couple of months because school is becoming very busy.

Yes. You can't go through the wall, but you can find a key to unlock the trapdoor. I won't spoil it for you by revealing the location  .

mpolo wrote:Ah... we're talking about different scenarios. The one with the boar was no real problem. The orcs and humans never got close to me. (Well one Knight got within 3 or 4 hexes, but since it was woods, he had no chance.) I meant the one where you have 100 turns to explore a huge cave system. On the way down to purple and white (whom you have to pass to win), you have to go through two "chokeholds" one after the other, and they recruit so many that it takes ages to get through there. I literally was there for over 40 turns making no progress whatsoever. (Move up one drake. Try to kill one of the two dwarves he is forced to face alone. If I kill one, pray that his spot won't get filled by another one so that I can get a second drake through the doorway... Keep sending units back to heal... BORING!)
Oh.

This scenario is supposed to be hard and long. But if it is that hard, then there is obviously a problem.
IIRC, the first time I played this one I beat three out four groups of dwarves, but a mpolo says, you can't get to the others 'cos there's a very narrow passageway. So the game went on for a long time, with my Inferno Drake taking several turns to toast each Dwarvish Guardsman (Sentinel?), and then another taking its place each time, until I ran out of turns.

The second time through, I went for this group of dwarves first, and with several of my strongest units rotating into front position to hack through the tunnel by brute force. Once through into the wider passageways on the other side, I could easily hold them, so that I could then start the attacks on the other more accessible dwarf clans while a small group finished off this one.

So it is possible; you just have to strike hard and fast before they have time to recruit too many defenders or capture all the villages in their own caves.

Precisely. And you may want to check out the Storeroom... (it may be good or bad, I won't spoil it, and it is IMO cowardly to spoil it for others).
