Solution to Bug in Scenario 3 - Freedom ?
Maybe this thread gives the solution to the bug in scenario 3 - Freedom.
It seems that at this moment the problem is discussed in three different threads - and the wiki page doesn't give a concise hint, how to proceed with a bug in a user campaign. I vote for this subforum as appropriate.
The other question: as long as the current maintainer doesn't respond - what can be done, but collect the known bugs on a wiki user-campaign page?
( No, my signature is not meant to point to anyone. )

You may assume maintainership and adopt the campaign. This happened to other campaigns which are not maintained anymore and is a nice way to keep them alive.anatelos wrote:The other question: as long as the current maintainer doesn't respond - what can be done, but collect the known bugs on a wiki user-campaign page?

How to escape the enchanted forest
Hi,
Can somebody direct me to where I might find some clues as to escaping the enchanted froest (saurian campaign)?
I have searched the forum and come up with naught.
I reach the northen edge of the forest and I cannot find a way out.
Thanks

I'm interested. How do I go about doing just that?torangan wrote: You may assume maintainership and adopt the campaign. This happened to other campaigns which are not maintained anymore and is a nice way to keep them alive.

no Forgotten_Legacy.cfg
Hi,
would love to tell you what I think but I downloaded the file and installed in my wesnoth file but unlike the other wesnoth scenarios therew is no Forgotten_Legacy.cfg so it does not show up on my list of campaigns.
Did I do something wrong?

If you want to maintain this campaign you've got to ask for the passphrase after a last try to reach the author.db0 wrote:Ok, lacking a reply of any kind I got to work on the first scenario along with learning the basics of campaign design.

Play test of Forgotten Legacy
I have just finished the first scenario [on easy] and started the second. Here are my first set of comments:
1. I like the story line throughout the introduction and the first scenario (there are a couple of typos in the opening... I'll go back and find those later);
2. no bugs in the first scenario and I ended with 481 gp and about five units; but
3. second scenario starts out with only 100 gp and no recalls. WTF?
Will start to play it now without veterans and missiing 381 gp. More later.

Second and third scenarios
Victory in turn 12 and had 43 gp.
Loaded third scenario and got the following message:
Error
The game could not be loaded: load_game_failed: Invalid starting position (0,0) for the leader of side 4.
IIRC this problem is solved further back up the thread (or was it in Arendia?) and it just takes a quick editing.
I'll give it a try.
[No go... followed what I had done previously, compared the files, and still get the error message.]

errr, I only finished the first scenario and it is still very much in beta. The rest are still as they were.
This upload was just so you can see the progress, not an actual full fledged campaign. I will start working on the other scenarios soon.
Sorry if I didn't make it clear.
Any comments on the first scenario are welcome of course

Go on! I did not have time to play your scenarios of Forgotten Legacy, but you'll manage the job.torangan wrote:If you want to maintain this campaign you've got to ask for the passphrase after a last try to reach the author.db0 wrote:Ok, lacking a reply of any kind I got to work on the first scenario along with learning the basics of campaign design.

The void of man that gives the chance to rethink...
I've tweaked the first scenario a bit and finished the first draft of the second one.
Balancing is still pretty theoretical
I seem to have a problem on the second scenario when moving the riders. Although the first movement looks fine, for some reason the rest don't appear at the specified spot until after the whole movement section is over. If anyone can give any hint on why it isn;t showing up correctly I'd be grateful.
