Just a small rant from a Pole-Polish cavalrymen actually were equipped with rifles and pistols, it's an untrue legend that they charged tanks with lances. It was only a tradition to hold a saber, and those were only ornamental
But don't mind me, it's still a marvelous work

Yes, I know it. But the sprite looks great with these "tradition". In his profil he will attack with a rifle.

I like the way you've characterised the factions. However, on a different note, I feel the anti-tank gun should be bigger, as it seems about as big as your motorbike. Also, make sure all the factions have a trademark unit, a distinctive unit that you won't find any where else.

News: I finished the next 3 units for Poland. The Porucznik, the wz.31 mortar and the wz.1897 howitzer. You can take a look on the sprites at first post.

Furthermore, I created the first playable version of "Battle for Westfront". I will play it a few times with friends to take a look on the balance and maybe bugs. If we cant find major problems, I will upload the era for a chosen few here this weekend.

Content of the pre-alpha:
- 2 factions (Deutsches Reich, Poland) with different ways of playing
- 2 special commanders, one for each nation
- another 14 individual units
- Every unit with a special profil, description and unique attacks
- First balancing

Wow.Neorice used to boast he could make a unit in five minutes, and a faction in two hours. Either you're attempting to rival that claim or you've been working non-stop for two days. The pose of the porucznik seems a little weird-it looks like he's thrusting his body backwards. However, I especially like the mortar.
