Significantly better. :D The only thing is they look bald, is that intentional?

Yes. They are supposed to be bald. :D

I don't really like the heads, they are all the same.

someone wrote:I agree. Plus, It's the head that makes them the people I'm trying to make. With elf heads they would be elves, which they are not.

EDIT: (yet another) attempt at sizing up the head.
If you agree with him why don't you make more changes? :hmm: I think you missed the point he was trying to make.

I've been (maybe a little slowly) attempting the changes.
Sorry it's been so long since my last post. New Picture:

The head is heaps better, its about the right size. But should it be looking down like that? And I think where the hat goes around his head could use a darker outline if u get my drift.

He's not supposed to be wearing a hat. Maybe I should make it lighter?

If he's not wearing a hat then I have no idea what's going on there. Needs to be a bit clearer.

He's bald, with painting on his forehead. Any suggestions on making it clearer?

The forehead is in way too much shadow. Light from top right, remember - check out the way the Dwarf Thunderer is lit to get an idea of it. I'd also suggest that the eyes are a bit too far down.

I tried lightening the head on the warrior and hunter. Also, on the warrior, I slightly changed the shape of paint. Thoughts?

I thought they looked more like they're looking up. Hmm...

OOPS! I forgot to post the pictures!

Frogger, I'm not sure what you're saying considering I hadn't posted the pics yet.

There's something funky going on with the top guy's right shoulder/neck imo. The head just flows straight into the shoulder without any neck. Maybe this was intentional, but it gives an odd effect that doesn't seem natural. Also, it seems like the eyes are a bit low and the jaw is very square.

I think that the head paint would look better if it were in a darker color (is that he magenta shade?). Also, shouldn't paint glisten? I wonder what happens if you give him a highlight. For that matter, bald heads are shiny too... Shouldn't there be a bright spot?

For all the comments, I like what you're going for and how the second one is turning out :)

Hmm... I'll see what I can do about the neck tomorrow.

Attempt at shiny forehead:
