new name concept for charge:
Dulatus Springs
for reference, see the mountain range southwest of Weldyn in the introduction map.
Maybe the meandering river could be split in two rivers travelling in opposite directions, each with contributing rivulets, by adding some landhexes in the centre of the map?

Geographical funfact:
Rainwater falling in the Balkan highland of Kosovo (with an area of approx. 10,000 sqkm) can either flow due east into the Black Sea, south into the Aegean sea, or west into the Adriatic.

Right, so you weren't fired, you quit. Good to know.pg wrote: One of the reasons I quit Wesnoth development was because I'd have to deal with him.
I see you're going to keep repeating yourself without responding to any of my answers to these points (my most recent post to you in this thread). As it is now, we'll interpret your lack of response to those points as a tacit admission of error.pg wrote: I didn't realize to do so I'd have to build a political base among Wesnoth developers or become a forum warrior. All I wanted to do was make fun maps, I was never interested in ego battles or pretending to know the holy writ of balance.

Um, does this discussion accomplish anything whatsoever, or can I lock it?

Not very likely, but as always, if you want to mod a map and send it to me, I'll review and consider it.Gauteamus wrote: Maybe the meandering river could be split in two rivers travelling in opposite directions, each with contributing rivulets, by adding some landhexes in the centre of the map?
I don't particularly like the sound of Dulatus Springs (though I know that it's in the game), but I do think it's a great idea to tie the "Charge" area in with a prestablished location in Wesnoth.Gauteamus wrote:<Brainstorm>

Ideas, anyone?

I like Bitter Creek. We might as well pay some tribute to the real battle over it.
