Regarding the samurai, you can keep the same shape on the shaft but make it seem a little thinner by darkening the underside a bit. I think the version with the sword offers a much better balance to the image and I prefer that one.

Augh, sorry Kanapka, it occurs to me that I didn't even reply about your samuraïs! I really am a horrible thread manager I have been pretty busy these last few weeks, with the university session coming to a close and everything.

Well, I kinda like the version with the sword, but I don't really mind if he has it or not. Appart from that, I generally agree with:

I think the horns would look better if not in tc,maybe in gold.But apart from that the sprite is very good

and

Only two nitpicks with the samurai:
1. That's one thick shaft. Maybe you should down it to 1px. with a 1px. border for total 3px.?

No problem with the slow reply. I'm working on the archer line now, but it's going slow. I'll recolor the horns, and I've made a couple of improvements, but I don't have the sprite on the machine I'm working on now, I'll upload in couple of days. I'm also drawing some random stuff trying to improve in pixelart a bit, so the next sprite won't come quickly.
