Agreed. As far as I see it, it's a big ripoff of LotR with a crazy storyline. I've always found Narnia to be extremely dumb anyway, and the movies have done nothing to improve my opinion (though granted, these movies are better than the cheesy BBC version, which was pathetic in the extreme... flying cartoon skulls with flames shooting out of them? Not my idea of the evil enemy soldiers).Gambit wrote: I was recently somehow bored enough that the second Narnia movie looked somewhat enjoyable, so I gave it a shot. During/After the movie I was somehow bored enough that bashing my head into the wall looked somewhat enjoyable.
Same rushed piece of lion dung as the first.

I'm really looking forward to the Hobbit.

I watched GIjoe the other day, and was bored out of my brain. The characters.... suck. especially the baddie ninja (storm shadow. Can anyone think of a more cliché and stupid name?)
The stupidest bit I thought was when he joined the hilts of his katanas together as if he thought he was Darth Mall. Not to mention the fact that you get much more maneuverability and versatility with just one in each hand.
The sotryline and blurb made me feel like I was watching a beefed up episode of Kim possible.
So yer, there's my rant on a bad movie.

That scene where Legolas boarded down the stairs in the middle of thousands of orcs nearly made me cry...
but I just heard about an Oliphaunt killing scene in III that is even worse...

The oliphaunt scene is pretty badass, albeit with some fairly iffy CGI - Legs simply doesn't look real in it. The shield-boarding down the stairs is horrible.
