Elves usually have bows and are better at ranged attack. Couldn't it be the same with Dark Elves?

The skin can be fixed, but they're not supposed to have bows because they live in caves. they have little crossbows that upgrade into big crossbows, i just haven't drawn the archers yet. i completly changed the look, so what do you think?

the Dark Elf High Lord could be either the lvl 3 hero of the campaign or the weapons master.

the Dark Elf Lord could either be changed into a Warrior or the lvl 2 hero of the game.

I can't see the pictures. When I download them and try to open them, my computer says they are not valid png files. :(
What software do you use? Maybe you have problems with it when you save files in .png

axeman? Why would they have an axeman, wouldn't a stealthy elf offbranch be more prone to assasination killing, aka daggers. Or finesse fighting, aka rapiers?

I think they should be naked. Same argument above applies to heavy armor.

They only have chest armor on, no leg or arm armor. Warrior King didn't put any texture on the arms, like I told him he should do. But, do you think they look better then the first ones we made? That's what I really want to know.

Quite frankly, no. And they are not in tune with the wesnoth theme.

Dark elves in tunnels?
It's not a fantastic Idea.I know you have this idea, but i think elves are everywhere if we do it:underground,plains,forest,etcetera...
They are everywhere. And elves aren't evil and elves and dwarves in tunnels can be disastrous:in all the campaigns dwarves say that they fight and won the elves.
Whith the new elves you create a contraddition to wesnoth's story.

Sorry for the work i think you done, but i don't think it can be a success.

but the idea isn't really bad.I've not realized that.

I thought you'd say that, but I just wanted to make sure. Oh well, I guess we'll have to keep working on the first ones.

We just want to make a campaign. I highly doubt that they will be added to Wesnoth as a race, but I do believe people will enjoy playing them.

I'm not so sure as they are a contradiction to the Wesnoth story. It's more like a dark secret that has always been there. You've felt the presence, but you never could put your finger on it. It goes along with the mystery of the Elves. They are good, but no one really knows that much about them. It adds to that idea.

And, these "Dark" Elves are a branch of the elves that have gone to the dark side. It's like Vulcans and Romulans in Star Trek. The Wood Elves and Dark Elves fought a huge battle that lasted for 3 days. The Wood Elves drove them into the caves, and sealed the exit. The Dark Elves learned to adapt to the caves, and thrived. They tried to remain shut off from the world, to stay away from the other Elves.

I think the idea isn´t bad but warrior King´s seem to be a little bit big.
and the skin color looks a little bit strange.
I would do something like these. I would help out a little bit more but I want to finish some other stuff first.

Thanks Shadow. The skin is supposed to be pale, but we're having a hard time finding the right pale color. I think this is the best unit we've made so far, but it still needs shadowing and a few other things. If anyone can make the skin look right, please change it for us.
