Necromancer can't level-up to Ancient Lich? Weird, the code looks okay, and the F1 help says he can. Can you post a save file?

I have added the number of redeems needed to the description of redeem, but not to soul eater, because you see this number much more frequently than redeem count.

Here's the save file. Also, when Efraim get 6 attacks for wave of fear, the next avancement propose "cause fear faster" but doesn't change the number of attacks.

Uh, it seems that female necromancers aren't being offered advancement to Ancient Lich. Anyway, when an Arch Necromancer dies, he/she becomes a Lich automatically. I will fix this.

There was some mess in his advancements, fixed it, not uploaded yet.

in "Rising from the Grave" 1st sc scenario objectives are a bit messed up
at beginning you have as lose conditions: Destruction of Lethalia or Efraim
Destruction of Lethalia
i think that the first line was supposed to be the lose conditions when you find efraim

Fixed. It was a mere copy&paste error.

What happens if an unit got illumination and darkens ?(in my case, celestial messenger+tormentor of light)
Nothing happens ?

One of the two auras will be shown, but I think that it will have no effect. Anyway, there are some maximum and minimum values from which the stronger one prevails, so it might help to stack other illumination/darkens abilities, but this will not happen much.

I was working on the soulless-only-advances-to-skeletons problem, and added a new monster that advances from all Soulless variations, but looks like neither of them. I was obviously lazy to draw 10 sprites for all the things it might be made of, so I just created a story that most flesh eventually rots away, it either becomes a skeleton or something transformed by the spiritual energy drained by the plague. It is a slow, floating, tentaculous unit that is a good plaguer.

The spaghetti monster... Doesn't look tasty. Seems good enough, though kinda strange (comparing to some other sprites you made). Will there be a level 3 for that unit ?

It looks strange because with most units, I had existing units to take parts and contours from to make them fit among the mainline units better, but in this case, there was nothing to start with (that fitted the appearance I wanted it to have).

And I don't think I'll give it a level 3 advancement, because plague units were usually limited to low levels and I don't want to alter the balance between units too much (a plaguer should not be also a good fighter).

The "spaghettis" aren't really good in the animation(some white bars appear in the middle of it). Out of that, it fits the image of an evolved zombie pretty good.
I wonder how he's gonna attack though... SPAGHETTI ATTACK!!! And the guy dies from eating too much spaghettis... Worse death ever.

Most of the graphic things you mentioned are a speciality of the imperfect conversion to the gif format, and I have fixed the rest.
It's attack is 'tentacle' and it is similar to the usual zombie touch attack, nothing special.

I have published a new version, 2.5.7. It contains a lot of bugfixes, the previously mentioned new unit, some rebalancing of chapter 1, in scenario Infinite Legion, it should be impossible to defeat the enemies now and I've made the traders show you the properties of every item before you buy it. Also, I fixed a really old, rarely manifesting bug that prevented some changes of the campaign from taking effect in some cases. I have removed some experimental changes in AI, because I was told and I briefly tested that the AI works better without it. Let me know if the AI is better or worse now.

Problem with the AI: The units do not attack efraim and ethalia unless i'm near an enemy leader. Especially in "dealing with trolls", where the whole point of the scenario gets destroyed as none of them dare attack me.

That explains a lot. To verify my theory, can you please tell me how it works in later chapters, especially 7-9?

I would not have published this change normally, but when I published it experimentally on the 15004 server, I received no feedback, so I thought it was working fine.

To undo this, open your save file (if you can't do it, just google a program that can open archives of this kind, or untick the option to compress saves in preferences->advanced), find a line with text campaign_extra_defines="LOTI_LOW_DROPS" (it should be the sixth line) and replace it with campaign_extra_defines="LOTI_LOW_DROPS,ERSTORE_AI_HACK" and it will be reverted in that save file and all following save files you base on it, from the following scenario.

Won't be on chapters 7-9 until 3-4 days, and then i'm gonna have to stop playing a little. Anyway, same problem after modifying, the units do not attack my leaders (using "dealing with trolls" to test). Dunno if it's really related with the changes you made, i noticed it only recently, but it didn't bother me much, until i got to the trolls. Does it means that my leaders are too strong and even an over aggressive AI won't attack ?
