The wizard reminds me of Merlin
It was hard to test the campagin, I just labled the hex they were in.
I just got back from vacation ILP, and haven't worked on the campagin for a while. Belwar was some maps done, I'll be sending them to you later today.

this is all the stuff in one file. ILIKEPROGRAMMING helped with some of the stuff, we still need to do the lord, high lord, stalker, and warlock. the cleric is just there for testing, so don't freak.

You're probably going to hate this, but I haven't really followed this thread so the images are new to me. The magic users look human, exacerbated by (or due to) the fact that they seem to be edits of the white mage. I guess the males don't look so much like edits. But they definitely look human with the hoods on. But, good work so far.
Hope springs eternal.

The Enchantress line is all the same, there is no way that the position of the staff can intuitively indicate the level of power.
It's all fun and games until someone loses a lawsuit. Oh, and by the way, sending me private messages won't work. :/ If you must contact me, there's an e-mail address listed on the website in my profile.
Yes you have, so i suggest that you do 4 lines first, significantly cutting your workload, so if you lose your drive and get bored you have a workable faction, I suggest the hunter line, the fighter line, the Wizard line and the Lizard Rider, the entire Enchantress line is a rework of the white mage, and from what i can tell with the staff rotated, they're all black white mages with the staff in different positions. You need to make more differences between levels, the stalker has a bigger sword, bigger crossbow and a cape different from the hunter, not many people are going to even noticee the crossbow, so you need something to make it look more lvl. 2 or a different stance. Untill you've played them loads the difference between the units in the enchantress line means that you won't be able to tell what 1 they are by sight unless they are all together. I suggest for the lvl. 3 hunter you change the stance entirely, and maybe for the lvl. 2 noble. I've made some changes, mostly to the weapons, but yeh, see for yourself, i've only changed the warrior and hunter lines a bit, don't have that much time.

The dark elf enchantress tree needs to either be removed, or be completely redone. The wizard line has the same problem as the enchantress line. And, it seems odd to have 2 magic user lines. I would get rid of at least one of these lines, if not both.
The fighter looks female, but her upgrades look male.
I would fix that.

well, i have never done anything like this before, never taken any art classes, did and redid the fighter countless times---it could go on and on. i'm surprised i've gotten this far. you guys make it look easy. i have just figured out how to shade properly, and have been experimenting constantly. i'm self taught.turin wrote:The dark elf enchantress tree needs to either be removed, or be completely redone. just to answer some questions, the hunter is a rivised version of a guy made by ILIKEPROGRAMMING, and i haven't spent that much time fixing it. i made the stalker yesterday, not really doing anything but give it a sword, cape, and bigger crossbow. i wasn't worrying about it for the moment. i was more concerned for the fighter line.
you know, assasin has been telling me that the fighter has breasts, and i haven't been listening to him as much as i normaly would, probably cause i have tried redoing the fighter about 26 times (without exageration) to satify everyone who sees it constantly on my computer. so i'll try to fix that. how do the lvl2,3 units look?
the enchantress line is only there to help assasin with his programming, i put it there to show new comers what the line will look like, and to see what everyone would say if i put something crappy like the enchantress line in the list

the lizard rider line rocks, don't you think?
the noble is a revised version of a fighter shaddow drew for me, i haven't gotten round to drawing the lord or high lord.
if everyone thinks that the wizard and sorcerer should be changed then fine. i'll changed them. but what should i change? assasin and i thought they were great.
these are all the units that are worth showing (trust me). i'll change some art around if anyone has any bright ideas. just list them in your posts. that would help a lot.
