I find it odd that the degenerate sons of dragons, even the most powerful, would be the same level as an actual dragon.

Then again, the same goes for mages... I guess I just think the two dragon units should be level 5...

Anyway, looks good.

You could also take in fact that it's not as powerfull as a real dragon at the same level.

14-4 marksman, 21-2 melee; and a 24-1(They really should make that one a bit stronger, it smells useless) blunt attack; And not to forget it has leadership; It's like all three burner branches (Once the marksman one is done that is) merged into one;

The level 4 drake would do less damage with a 9-6 melee; And ofcourse lacks the marksmanship bonus; so is weaker overall in that part,

The claws would also never be able to jump 20 damage in one level; So it'd not compete with the dragon aswell.

As you can see, The same level perhaps; But stat wise the level 4 drake would never compete with the dragon.

Neo, don't listen to Na'Enthos! I love the drake with his wings wrapped about him like a cape. It gives him an air of serene confidence in his drakish superiority. No doubt, he'll expand his wings when it's time to fly or to attack or defend himself, and then fold them up again.

Personally thet's my favorite one, but he looks smaller than the predisessor, even though the boddies are the same hieght. Maybe he could just be lengthened to look not so small, but I really like the wings as a cape.

I wouldn't call it an efreet. How about Drake Immolator?

Definition of 'immolate' (source: http://www.cogsci.princeton.edu):

offer as a sacrifice by killing or by giving up to destruction; "The Aztecs immolated human victims"; "immolate the valuables at the temple"
"ILLEGITIMIS NON CARBORUNDUM"

And i think we can work on the lv4 units (1 per each faction is a good idea) after all the lv3's are done.

Why did you resurrect a month-old topic? You didn't even say anything useful...

About 4th level drakes: if any exist, I think it will b necessary to make the two dragon units level 5, not 4. It just wouldn't seem right to have some of the "degenerate sons of dragons" be as powerful as the dragons themselves.

Actually they're not "as powerfull" I thought it was this same topic where I explained that, Or not; I don't really care,

But the dragon is like a combination of the drake flameheart, Inferno drake and The third line, If it will ever come, with marksmanship;

Eventhough they'd give the same exp the dragon would be alot tougher than any level 4 drake would ever be, This is actually a large point about the drakes being degenerated, Even when they're at the same level the dragon overpowers them easily, The same goes for alot of other units at lower levels in wesnoth.

Almost all level 3's are there now, great. :)

But why on earth wasn't the Enforcer added? It seems just as balanced as the gladiator if you comapre to the slasher - and levelup, at least...

The enforcer doesn't have animations yet. When it does, it will be added.

Oh I have only one thing to say, if you dowload the , I think never finished saurian campaign, they did add two saurian units, a leader, and a thrower, So there is indeed a saurian ranged unit out there, if anyone cares to bring him back.
May the drakes bloody kill you all.

Neither does the Orcish warlord, for instance... I don't see missing animations as a reason to not add a unit, if the animations are coming soon anyway.
