If I wanted one of my posts to be taken by the word, I'd put less than two exclamation marks at its end. Sarcasm anyone?

Re: Drake vs Drake is boring and needs overhaul
This depends on the map/factions: i remember playing orc-mirror on den of onis, where both players recruited mainly trolls and walled the whole map up. Now there were large scale fightings all the time (including bringing the leader to the battle), but at some point you had so many trolls, that you could rotate (= replace injured with healthy) them all night long, making it impossible for one side to break through. We called it a game after 20 turns or so.silent wrote:In theory, there should be a way around any "wall" of units. A player can't cover the entire map with a wall of units to prevent being attacked, there will be a gap or opening somewhere which can be taken advantage of, or a weak spot in the wall which can be taken advantage of (e.g walking corpses, goblins)

Allowing/disallowing mirror matches has been talked of and someone has submitted a feature request for it.

Two players with similar skill levels may do so, even in non-mirrored matches sometimes boring stalemates happen that way, let alone in mirrored matchessilent wrote:Just because 2 players have the same faction doesn't mean they will play the same way as each other or recruit the same units.
