Leaving part of the quote out like that made Simons Mith sound like an idiot who doesn't know what a portrait is. Obviously this is not the case. Maybe you didn't understand what he was talking about:

Also, out of curiosity, what's your purpose in posting here? What do you want? Do you want to learn how to draw mainline quality? Do you just want to learn to draw well?

i have understand was he talking about, 05/06 is a sketch for answer see post:Sat Jun 27, 2009 10:29.

At your current level of ability, it seems unlikely that you will be able to contribute to the mainline of WesNOTH (not Wesnorth...). However, there are numerous user-made content creators who would be very happy to have an artist with your skills on board. I suggest that you liaise with one of them.

Ahh... there's the confusion. Here's a breakdown of what he said.

1. The one from 05/06 looks like an optical illusion.
2. One way up it's a close-up view of a skull with a headband
3. other way up the headband turns into a belt and the picture seems to show a torso, arms and legs

In other words, "the picture seems to show a torso, arms and legs" is talking about the portrait when it's upside down, not about the portrait in general.
