Please let this be an April Fool's joke. Please. I don't want to see Linux and Mac versions disappear! Do you realize what happened when Microsoft bought Bungie? Halo was supposed to be for Mac! They killed it, all my hopes and dreams for Mac gaming!

I don't want to see a buggy, patch-ridden Wesnoth engine! It's just not natural I tell you!

:hmm: :augh:
Microsoft has already secured that point. I cannot give you details, nor can Ivanovic or ESR, but for the time being you could resort to Cedega and other Wine-based Windows game helpers for Linux.

And ditch the stupid cross-platform compatibility. It has already [censored] many software projects.

God, let it be an April fool joke, please! :annoyed:

Edit:
Crossover? Hehe!
It won't be OpenSource anymore? DirextX?
Oh no!
I had the idea to help with C++-Coding? In a non-OpenSource-Project, controlled by Microsoft?
I must learn SDL, oh no!

Yes there are a lot of non-cross-platform-opensource-projects, they are making kde-only-software! ;)

Paying worries me though...
I heard they were stoned out of their minds, trying to convince the Statue of Liberty to get naked...

This is very good news, and very smart of you! Now microsoft has finally to open up it's source code and license it under the GPL. I am so happy, that free software finally wins over microsoft! Steve Ballmer is probably throwing some chairs around in his office, because of sheer happyness.

First we take microsoft, then we take over the world. :lol2:

I did not believe you could make it non-free without the permission of EVERYONE who had edited wesnoth.
