lol, you should see me on a couple of other forums (hell, i'm no slouch here, and i've only been here a month or so...) wherein i have >6000 posts. Newbies are scared of me

tis fun. Maybe you could spend an hour or two doing a search for all your old posts and deleting them lol

the first posts will always be special.

when wanting to know stuff about people, i always check their first posts too. like, did they start with a faction that never got finished (like me), or went right into doing stuff for mainline, or had their first few dozen posts done in ideas forum (the latter tend not to be very productive in terms of wesnoth content).

Your nick is ubertuna-1. As such, you're liable to be called anything along the liens of "ubertuna", "uber", "tuna", "UT", "ut", "ub", "Mr. Tuna", "Mr. UT", etc. Deal with it. If you want people to call you UT-Autsen, you need to be registered as that. (And if you want them to call you "Autsen" instead of "UT", you need have just "Autsen" as your nick rather than "Ut-".) After all, it's not reasonable to expect everybody responding to your posts to have read this thread, or any thread in which you mention what you prefer to be called.

Incidentally, that's why I chose name that can't really be corrupted... "Turin" is a proper name. It's not "Turin-1" or "UT-Turin" or "KD44-Turin-1". You can't really do anything but call me "Turin" if you expect me to know that you're talking to me. (Unless you make reference to the character Turin Turambar from the Silmarillion, of course.)

Of course, you've already registered, so you can't change your name... if you really care that strongly about being called "autsen" not "tuna", you need to put that in your signature or something.

Ok... That still does not change the fact that he keeps sending me annoying PMs saying that he wants to play me for my position as clan leader. I already said no, why can't he take a hint?

I meant my critisizm of Ken-Oh more as a joke. I don't really mind it if people call me other things, but UT_Autsen is the name I use on the mp server.

If you searched for older clan threads you would have known what will happen.
Clans are a bit problematic for Wesnoth because of a not existing ladder System and the size of the community they are quite useless.
I don't exactly like all reactions either but hey this is the internet. Serious business.
