Okay, only flat. (I thought I'd add a sash to it, looks better that way I think?) Is the shape good?

I would say no, it's far too fat.

Hmm? You mean like thick? If so, is this better?

Are you kidding me? Would a ribbon honestly hang like that?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, I'm fairly certain, if I grabbed a ribbon and tied it onto a pole (makes no difference :P), then it would fall, not doing some weird dance :P

Maybe the user shakes the club. You know, to see the ribbon dance.

Perhaps he uses it to hypnotize his enemies? :P

No, seriously, I'd remove the ribbon, for practical reasons as well as artistic ones.

woodmouse: Can you please move this to the workshop until its done? It's obviously going to take some time and many posts. Let's not clutter up this thread.

Take a look at kitty's portraits to see what the proportions of the club should be. This isn't it, and more than a few pixels are going to have to change.

Cleaned up and committed these two attack icons by mysticXtheUnknown. One was just a minor edit to give the hand some volume, the other was a major redraw to account for how fire gives off a volumetric light (the thicker the fire, the brighter).

What do you think about the mermaid staff by fmunoz? (On page 6 of this thread.) I was going to put it into Dead Water, but I think it's nice enough for mainline too.

I feel kinda weird about doing it because it's a painfully obvious 'copy-and-paste' from a portrait. I tend to think these should be drawn from scratch. OtOh, it might make a fine placeholder in mainline for such a drawn-from-scratch icon, so go ahead and commit it there.

That would save me from having to do it separately for the campaign, but I can't commit anything to mainline myself.

I made a set of item icons in the size & style of wesnoth items (sans the border) as a commission for another game (http://clintbellanger.net/rpg/). Drawn over 3d renders by the commissioner. They're under CC0 ( = public domain), so anyone who wants to use/edit them, may.

Those might've been great for this.

With some minor edits, I might find a use for one or two of those myself =)
