You have a nice odd combination of heroes, but just the standard "bad guys" Orcs, & undead, with drakes to mixing it up a little.
Yes, I know. But the campaign is less than one third complete, so anything could still happ-

Well...Uhhh... Hi!
Seems to be a good campaign so far, an i can't help but add my talents... Even if they arn't so good.
So here is a little thing i did of Xel, it's not much, but it IS something.
Edit: Oh, and if you want me to do more, i'll be happy to try.
Edit2: Oh, and tell me if theres anything you want me to add to him/change and i'll see if i can do it...

Wonderful job!

I think I will be using the first one: the second is pretty good too, but all those bruises look a bit too fresh, considering he's been running for a good while - and when you put so many details in one small sprite, it starts to look a bit messy and you don't make so much sense of it anymore. And besides, I think my heart will ache too much for the poor guy whenever I see that, to make absolutely anything to do with it impossible to look.

I don't see the shackles on his wrists, though. You should add them too. Or, maybe they're just really unclear, I dunno.

And since you already offered to do more, I don't feel all that bad to ask you to do Cheska and Silan as well. Do you have any skills in animating those, or would we have to ask someone else to do that?

Well, i could easily bring those bruises and cuts down so they look like they've been there for a bit longer, but if it's to crowded it doesnt matter. I actually did put shackles on the wrist, but i didnt decide to put a chain on them, as i thought that would hinder his fighting abilities. But i can add in the chain as well if you like, and make it a bit clearer. Animating ive tried a bit, and im not to good at, i dont really have the patience to do it very well. I'd prefer someone else to do it, but if noone else wants to do it then ill try to do it, ill probaly just end up adding shackles onto some attack animations and using them, but just making the spear go a bit further then in those, as he already starts with it slightly forward. I'll try to do the other two, but i think i may need something to work off, i really more of a modifier then an actual spriter. I'll look around the liberty files for that shadow lord guy to modify for Silan, and ill see if i can find something for Cheska.

I appreciate absolutely anything you can do, although if you're not good in animating, then it's okay if you don't do that. There's no need to add any chains in his wrists, but you could make those shackles a bit clearer: sprites don't need to have every single delicious detail anyway, we can leave those for the actual portraits.

In my mind, both Cheska and Silan really are rather more complicated than that: unlike Xel, they require a bit more than just taking an existing unit and modifying it a bit. Even so, any little bit will help.

Well, ill see what I can do with them anyways, even if i just contribute Xel, if this ever makes it i'll be happy just to see a bit of my art in the game :)
Now I, being the fastish worker that I am, have done another little bit on Xel, this time there is one on his other leg, along with a chain, and a shackle on each arm, but i dont have the chain. I've also added in some probably unnoticeable faint bruises, but they're still there just incase. The shackles were harder to do because of his small arm, but making them a bit bigger never really hurt anyone (besides the one wearing them).
So here he is, ill start work on the other two when i can get around to it, i might start tonight or tommorow after school, its getting pretty late.

I'll admit you've done really good job with him. I'm impressed.

Eagerly waiting for anything else you might produce.
Shawer wrote:but i dont have the chain.
All the better, really: as a bit of inside information, he still actually carries that chain with him, even though it's no longer attached to his shackles. It makes for a pretty good secondary weapon, he reckons: it's not all that powerful, but it's very fast and still contains its magical nature, making it rather easy to hit with it.

By going by the basis of "Do not sleep, must work" I've got Silan, well, depending on if you want him or not, done/ I removed the awful hairstyle of the shadowlord and changed his clothes, ripped his cape up a bit, tore the hood a bit, changed his eyes to blue and thats pretty much it.
Hope you like it, but if you dont i can change it, doesn't matter to me.

I think Silan was, in terms of appearance, much closer to a dark adept rather than a shadow lord, really: it was their portrait (and the personality, perhaps) that was very much like him, not the sprite. I admire your work, and I would hate for you to do more work than you liked, but that really isn't all that much like Silan.

Edit: I probably should have told that earlier, but to be honest, I was rather curious of what you could come up with. That was probably a bit mean of me.

Fine by me, and yes, that was bit mean of you, but i forgive you xD
While i was waiting for feedback of that, i grabbed an attack frame off the saurian skirmisher and now ive just modified it, i think it actually might work with just one frame of attack before reversing back to normal. I'll see what i can do about Silan again, i might frankie him and the shadow lord together a bit, as that sorta what i imagined him to look like, except without the hood and drawn more impressively xD After some bugs getting the movie on, you may have to put this onto desktop then unzip it to see.

Edit: Oh, and im taking a break until after school tommorow probaly, im getting a bit tired. I might edit one or two things before bed, but not really very likely.

Hm.

Exactly how do I use those files? They don't seem to show no matter what I do with them.
