Re: New game in town, Scrolls
yes I do think its interesting. Maybe there concept will not work well.
When I saw it, it reminded me of Wesnoth hex map and since i've seen around the Wesnoth CCG project (http://wtactics.org/), would but something interesting if they could merge, like a custom campaign.

Re: Blood Bowl
I was testing out wesbowl with another player, and he said he couldn't see his ball. Only I could see both balls LOL sounds strange LOL. But anyway, I think the game has problems, its not bad, was starting to get used to its strange rules. Shame no one picked this up and made it better Well, the AI ...

Re: Blood Bowl
@ceres thx.
wesball is strange, theres no turnover and each team has there own ball. The AI most of the time forgets about the ball.

Re: Blood Bowl
Ok, sorry, no more double posts.
Sounds interesting. Sadly no one continued with it. Looked for it in the addons and no luck.

Re: Blood Bowl
not at all, what i meant was, its a turn based game, wesnoth could use its races and make a sport like game, maybe based on football or even rugby rules, or even australian or Gaelic football rules. It would be great for multiplayers and for tournaments. *** even a campaign could work, each level wo...

Re: Favorite freeware game
I just tested the acronym tag with the latest version of chrome. It worked fine. Try updating your browser. In the mean time, both of them (along with many others) can be found on the wiki . I don't think there are any eras with splitting, but for range, there is the Ranged Era, by mich, which supp...

Re: NoLuckEra
Oh just remember, just like in Chess, the player that plays first can be a advantage. In other turn base games the first to play, can't attack (but this is on smaller boards like chess). What I want to say is that you want to take out randomness attack, but still have random terrain and also a playe...

Re: NoLuckEra
@SKAcz Chess is a turn based game (maybe the only thing it shares with Wesnoth in my opinion), it has no randomness, deployment is equal, units are equal, the board is always the same, this is in its most known way. There are many chess variant. Battle vs Chess has a maniac mode which places units i...

Re: Favorite freeware game
@Caphriel yes your right, Wesnoth is very different and very good. About Eras that have range and splitting, do you have a clue which ones? I guess I need to find out what HAPMA and UAPEB means Yes your right, a game to achieve the right balance isn't easy. I do agree that any new rules and ideas sh...

Re: Favorite freeware game
@caphriel :) your right. When I was posting it I was think that. I found Wesnoth because I was frustrated with the developers of the game I love. I tried and tried that they make it open source but without success. And I do get along with them but they don't believe in open source and the game belon...

Re: NoLuckEra
I wonder why the forum is full of comments about, should it be random, shouldn't it be random???? Wesnoth's best feature is that its open source, it has tools to change the game in new ways. Just let people experiment. Wesnoth isn't just the code that is open, the rules, the stories, ideas, are all ...
