Re: Wesnoth 1.9.1
I considered the buttons staying in the middle silly, especially on large screens, so now it stays on the edges. But now it looks mostly empty except for the largest element, which is the tip of the day. Also, when you start up a program, you expect to find buttons either at the top or, occasionall...

Re: Wesnoth 1.9.1
ARCANE COW! What did you guys do?! With terrain-anims turned on, 1.9.0 was virtually unusable for me, but in 1.9.1, it runs so smoothly that I forgot that they were switched on! And the load times (particularly campaign load times) are at least half as long. (for me, that is... maybe it's not quite...

Re: 1.9.1 over prev 1.8.4 dir
Well, the seemingly clunky response time seems to be client-wide; especially when going into load game or recalling / recruiting units. The actual gameplay seems unaffected.
Anyways not like it isn't manageable 'til 1.9.2

Re: 1.9.1 over prev 1.8.4 dir
The sidescrolling anim slowing down the main page happens with me too. Also, the GUI seems to be clunky - I click a button and the sound and actual reaction come at lagged speeds compared to 1.8.4, and nothing happened like that in 1.9.0 or 1.8.4.

Re: 1.9.0 bugs and feedback
I'm running 1.9.0 on Windows 7 (though this has been happening since before I upgraded from Vista) My hotkeys don't seem to work. I've checked all the options, and I can't seem to find any explanation for it. It isn't in a specific campaign or scenario, they just don't work at all :S Try to change ...

Re: 1.9.0 bugs and feedback
That's because the shortcut opens the game with command-line parameters that tell it where your data is. It's still opening the same program, just opening it with different settings. Not entirely sure how that works, but I'm glad it's not anything serious - since they're the same file, at least I t...

Re: 1.9.0 bugs and feedback
Oh, and the Previous / Next buttons on the opening screen (for the little tactical hints) sends me to a "The End" credits screen. Again, hope this hasn't already been posted.

Re: 1.9.0 bugs and feedback
OS: Win Vista SP2 Wesnoth v1.9.0, no additions, etc. Not sure how to reproduce this or give a clue how it happened, but last night I stayed up and played the Southern Guard campaign, reached the ... (mission with the Dark Lake and the fog. Sorry that I can't remember the name P:) (after the Valley o...
