Ha ha! Done it! Rushing forwards was the key rather than trying to turtle my way to the keep!

I started the scenario with more gold and on easy so there is clearly no reason why I shouldn't be able to do it with a bit more thought

Wow, that's one impressive replay Sapient; it makes it look so easy. I must say though that you had way better luck than I did with scoring hits on the opposition units. Has encouraged me to try again though.

I have to say I'm having a few problems with this level as well. I managed the first one spot on after a couple of re-tries and adjusting my thinking of village capturing right away. Devlings had me stumped a few times until i realised that there is no "score" as such and that losing blood...

Ah ok, thanks for the tip I shall try that later.

Slightly off topic perhaps but what does the difficulty level effect? Starting gold? There seem to be so many more campaigns available that are rated as expert that sound really good but the level has put me off trying any so far.
