graphincludes/project/wesnoth.pm

I've noticed there is this folder at the project root - `graphincludes/project/wesnoth.pm` - what is it for? Why it can not be moved to `utils`?

Re: Results of GSoC project: SDL2 transition

For me the most problems in OpenGL games (and hence in all libraries that promise to bring hardware acceleration including SDL2 and SDL_gpu) come from the hardware itself. It is quite hard to adapt to all bugs and incompatibilities that these GPUs and their drivers exhibit, so any attempt to go the ...

Re: SDL Version

I was about to ask the same thing, so it is nice to see this thread with all the links.

Note that Wesnoth bug is specifically fixed in SDL 1.2.15 by Sam Lantinga here.

The only confusing place is INSTALL instruction - https://github.com/wesnoth/wesnoth/pull/348

Re: Split GitHub repository

Do you plan on updating http://wiki.wesnoth.org/WesnothRepository with the info about repository size and workarounds? I find it a major showstopper for small contributions. I tried to clone it in the past several times and run out of free time. I have little experience with Git, but a lot in Mercur...

Re: Split GitHub repository

Subversion support is cool. Never thought about it. Thanks. It is still not very good to have binaries stored in Git. I don't know how big the repository is, but I won't be surprised if it is beyond some GB. I can understand the media in the same repository when the project can be executed from chec...

Split GitHub repository

What upsets me is than the time needed to download Wesnoth source to see it is > 2 hours on 2 Mbit channel. `git clone` says 10%, but it already downloaded 300Mb. It would be nice to split repositories into `source` and `assets` to make it easier for people to use the full source code history with o...

Incremental updates to 1.11.8 uploaded

I've uploaded incremental update archive from 1.11.7 to 1.11.8 here: https://code.google.com/p/rainforce/downloads/list The archive contains new files and binary files that are changed between versions. It is Windows only, because I don't know how to handle Linux binaries - they require some of pack...
