No there isn't a way to change the difficulty.
*sigh* I remember a day when people used to be helpfull no matter how noob others were (sry lava) But i supose wesnoth will slowly turn to the "dark side" like many other games do as they become more popular. it saddens me

Just came from a lord of the rings rumble. At the end of every turn a message came up saying players where out of sync and the game had to end. But we could still continue playing.

I also found out about wesnoth at happypeguin

This is a last resort. I use ubuntu and i can't find a way of getting to irc.
