Well,concerning the whole blackpowder thing,other than guns they would be very clockwork,so maybe if i emphasized that aspect more?

Well,I like the idea of taking off the spiky armor.I'm not much of the artist,however.Given the controversy around this,i doubt there are many up for it,but if anyone is out there that would like to do artwork,say so!

Ok,the blackness was because of soot,we don't need spikes.It was just to show thier,"grittyness" compared to other elves.I would like it too feel magical,but still be tech.very stylised compared to dwarves.
And yes,i kind of am a lurker.I've played the game for years....

This is just an idea,but hopefully it will evolve into something more. Ok,We all know that there are many instances of dwarves(or dwarvish creatures) having better technology.guns,gyrocopters(I've only seen this as an idea,but i have an old version of wesnoth with no internet so i do not know) even ...
