Hi, I have just tried the binary installation and confirmed the corrupt Japanese messages. But then I just copied sazanami-gothic.ttf to installed directory (C:\Program Files\Wesnoth\fonts ) and now I can see the correct messages. I think the Windows binary works pretty fine. Sorry, you mentioned .9.1b in the first post, which means you are using 0.9.1b Windows binaries available from the official download page, right ? I'll check it later.
