Download Unlicensed Package on Android

I have a little issue with the game on android. I removed a few weeks ago my google account from which I purchased wesnoth. After that I played the game a lot of times. So finally I decided to delete my google account, because there is no longer use for it. a few days later my wesnoth crashed and after application restart, it tells me that it want to download wesnoth_unlicensed.tar. I'm a litte worried, because I love this game for years and now I'm not able to play it. My tablet is not connected to the internet anymore, so I can't download the tar, so what can I do now? can I play the game, if i download unlicensed.tar?

Probably not. I don't know what that tarball contains, but you're being directed to it because the game can't verify that you purchased it, because the account you purchased it with no longer exists.
It may be possible to manually download the required files and fix things, but I don't know whether that would work.

Unfortunately, the 1.8-based android port by cjhopman seems to have been abandoned by the porter, as we haven't heard from him in quite a while.

I have read a while in the android support thread, there is someone called "alep", who is developing android ports of bfw 1.10.7 (non apk). I think that would be a proper solution and may I can contact him.

Yes, alep has created a new port for 1.10 that is rather lightweight (on the source modifications, not resource usage) and should be easy to upgrade to 1.12 when it's out (unlike all the previous versions). That means it does not have a touchscreen-optimized interface though.

I have downloaded the wesnoth_unlicensed.tar and the whole game worked without any restrictions, like before. I'm a lucky guy.

I only was shocked at the first time, because I thought it's playable without google account. Maybe it's after downloading wesnoth_unlicensed.tar. May there are fallbacks on google wallet and the android account services like IMEI, which only can be checked if you are online.
