Complaint about Test of the Clans and Dwarven Doors [spoil]

Test of the Clans If you kill the the south-east leader before you kill 25 units, two knights appear on the eastern edge of the map, just south of the keep. If one of your leaders is to the south-east of the keep and you have finished your turn when the Knights appear you can lose the scenario in o...

I save load all the time in HttT - some of the levels bore the [censored] out of me and i refuse to lose good units to crap levels - notably dwarven doors and Test of the Clans.

I utterly fail to see how anyone can beat DD on Normal by killing all 3 generals (I know you aren't supposed to)

As I said in the other thread I have always found in the past that any sleep-releated spell rarely works Which always meant that it was an utterly worthless ability that should never have been included in the game in the first place. Why should an ability which, if included, would be nerfed so badl...

Hallo scott,

I finally got round to giving this one a go :) I am using the latest code from SVN the game quits while loading the 3rd scenario because a saurian units is missing - I assume it was one of the ones that went with the clean up of the Triton etc :)

As I already said the "if you can work it out yourself wesnoth should show you" rule applies IMHO. I at least think it should be shown in the tutorial and I think and option to show hide it in game is not much to ask

A better idea would to be to have one color for the ZOC that works against you and another for the ZOC caused by yourself and any allies. An inbetween color could be used for hexes ZOCed by both sides.
I agree but in the case of both I think you only need to see your enemies...

I dunno what these look like on a entire cave level but they do NOT look right on "A Choice Must Be Made" - I know that is not their intended environment but they look flat out bizarre.

Um - I played a Snow Field's with new villages to day and the variety of orientation and size does look a bit odd - maybe it is becuase I am so used to the previous carbon copy look, I dunno...maybe it's now that there is some variety there is not enough variety....I do like them, I'm not moaning, t...

Um - I can see his feet, sword and head (I think), the rest is indistinguishable.

I really admire the detail you try to include wayfarer but I am always left trying to figure out exactly what part of the sprite is what :S Maybe it is my monitor...

I think this is an excellent idea - one of the best for while. I think the wesnoth rule of "if you can work it out for yourself it should be provided to save you the hassle" would support this too. It would be great if show hide ZOC could be bound to a keyboard command because even now I g...

They sound great to me. They do sound like someone dipping something in a basin of water and someone watering a plant but that is just typical over analysis. All sounds sound funny out of the context of the game I think - you listen to any of the other sounds in isolation they sound odd too, not lea...
