Problem Downloading Large Campaigns
Hi guys,
I am new here so sorry if this has been posted already. I am using version 1.1.1 and trying to download some of the campaigns through the in-game interface. For some reason I am having problems when downloading the larger (>3 or 4MB) campaigns. I have downloaded a few of the smaller ones and they work fine, but whenever I try to download the large ones, the download freezes at 99% and the game locks up. I can ctrl-alt-del and get back to Windows (it always says Wesnoth is Not Responding), but this has happened while trying to download on several different occasions. It always freezes at 99% with like 1 or 2k left in the download.
This just happened again while trying to download the Under the Burning Sun campaign (which is about 4MB). It froze 1k shy of the full download at 99%.
Any ideas? I am using Win98 SE if that helps any...

I have an idea to trick it.

Just download it there and then unzip it in the preferences/wesnoth directory. (you have to search)

In case anyone is interested in the original problem though, I have a little more information. I tried downloading everything available on the server and the largest campaign I was able to download was The South Guard (3.2MB). Anything larger than that failed at 99% every time. More specifically, this includes: Invasion of Arendia, Under the Burning Sun, and Northern_Rebirth. I have tried downloading each multiple times at different times of the day and waiting several minutes and the problem is consistently repeated each time.
