Show-Stopping Crash in The Legend of Wesmere - Windows/Linux
Operating System: Windows XP SP3 and Kubuntu Linux 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope)
Wesnoth Version: 1.6.2
First of all, a big thank-you to everyone involved with the development of Wesnoth - coders, composers, artists, translators, writers... everyone! I have been playing Wesnoth only since the days of 1.4, but have enjoyed every step of the journey so far.
I have encountered a rather nasty crash in The Legend of Wesmere campaign - a save game is attached to this post. After defeating the final enemy leader in the scenario Elves' Last Stand, a conversation takes place up until where I believe Olurf is supposed to make an appearance. At this point, my Windows installation crashes after failing an assert (!wml_triggered) call. Similarly, my Linux installation of Wesnoth shuts down at this point without further notice.
I only have version 1.6.2 at the moment, but looking at the change log for 1.6.3, I don't think anything changed which may affect this particular crash.
I have also attached the standard error outputs for both the Windows and Linux crashes. I had a look at actions.cpp, where the error outputs state the assertion failure is, but I don't know enough about the way Wesnoth works to make any judgement on this.
So... any suggestions as to how I might proceed? I was really enjoying this new campaign, and winning a fairly big scenario like this one is always fun, so it was disappointing to have my progress halted so suddenly.
Thanks for your help in this!

Re: Show-Stopping Crash in The Legend of Wesmere - Windows/Linux
After having a look through the scenario WML, I discovered Olurf appears at turn 14. I waited until Olurf's appearance before killing the last leader and all seemed to be fine. Still, it may be worth looking at how Olurf's dwarves are handled so this crash doesn't happen to others.
