wmllint and .map in [terrain_mask]

Post by Theron »

Running wmllint on WotD it complains about the map extension (and quits):
"/Users/marsch/Desktop/War_of_the_Dragon/scenarios/10Pirates.cfg", line 166: fatal error, mask file without .mask extension ({@campaigns/War_of_the_Dragon/maps/10aPirates.map)
wmllint: internal error on /Users/marsch/Desktop/War_of_the_Dragon/scenarios/10Pirates.cfg

The question is:
Should wmllint accept .mask as well as .map (as the scenario is working)?
Should 10aPirates.map renamed to 10aPirates.mask?
Or maybe change the way recruitment is done?

(The scenario starts with 10bPirates.map just displaying the recruitment area (ships). 10aPirates.map (turn 2) shows the full map and is meant for playing.)
(WotD is a Wesnoth 1.6 campaign. I'm going to port it to 1.9.)

Even if the scenario works it can still be a problem or something that is deprecated. However, it could just as well be some standard esr likes to impose on everyone who wants to benefit from wmllint. Thus it's easiest to just rename the extension. ^_^
