Can't log in to the game's official server?

This is an alternate account of my main account, momom2.
I tried logging into the official server, but it didn't work. It gives me an incorrect password error - I tried copy-pasting and copying by hand, neither worked. I'm supposed to input my forum password, right?

That's correct.

Well, do you know what might be going wrong?

If you're entering the same password there as when you login here, most likely there's some extra character getting added somewhere.

Note that you can concurrently log in with any case combination of your nick (Momom2, MOMom2 etc). Perhaps you don't need another account.

Thanks Soliton, I didn't know that, sounds like a good solution, even if I'm slightly bugged I can't figure out what went wrong with momom3.

I am having the same problem. i am copying the password and then pasting that into both forums and the official server login. it works on the forums but not for joining the server. i have made sure i type my exact forums username into the "login" section. is there anything else i should try (I've also tried copying it by hand). windows 11, game version 1.19.18. English (sorry if this isn't what configured language means, i don't know what that means even after some googling)

What is the error you're seeing?

I can only see you connecting to the 1.18 server with version 1.18.5. Perhaps try typing the password yourself instead of copying it.

just realized you are right i was in 1.18.5. i looked at the wrong number. the error I'm seeing is the incorrect password one (The password you provided was incorrect). i have tried typing it myself multiple times and i made sure i put my forums username into the login section. my main idea is to make another account and see if that works, so I'm going to try that now and I'll update in a couple minutes
