Hello everyone! I am in the process of creating "Love for Shadows", my first campaign. I am looking for feedback

In the forsaken future where Prince Konrad hath fallen, the shadow of tyranny and corruption cast by the Kingdom of Wesnoth groweth ever darker with each passing day. Huclya, a young sorceresss, doth pledge her destiny to the powers of death, that she might restore tranquility to the people mired in sorrow...

I mainly need advice on difficulty adjustment and storytelling. I also welcome feedback on map design. Also, I am not native English speaker, so my writing may be somewhat difficult to read. I apologize in advance.

Plot (still unfinished, and spoiler alert!)

Background
* 518 YW, Prince Konrad is defeated by Asheviere.
* Asheviere welcomes an adopted son from High Lords. He soon ascends the throne as Garard III.
* Garard III signs truce treaties with the elves, but behind the scenes he allies with the orcs to prepare the next invasion.

* Garard III dies of illness and Prince Blybryn ascends the throne. Blybryn expels his brother Aethec from Weldyn.
* Blybryn resumes war with the elves, but it quickly stalemates.
* The King orders the mages to disassemble the Scepter of Fire for study, but they refuse. Sorcerer Caraennyn undertakes this.

Episode I - 562 YW
* In Tath, the sorceress Huclya revolts with her friend Glinry. The rebellion is crushed and Glinry dies.
* Huclya is forced into the situation where it has no choice but to fight using the undead.
* Huclya helps and allies with Rheraen, an Orcish Lord.

* The group leaves Tath for the elven stronghold in Grey Woods, but is refused an alliance.
* At that time, Elensefar is besieged by Wesnoth; Huclya fights to save Elensefar.
* Aethec, who was commander in Elensefar, is persuaded by Huclya to become the King.

* The group heads back to Weldyn, but on the way they are attacked by Lich named Mal Ha'atan.
* Huclya defeats Ha'atan, but is cursed by him. Her body is slowly being devoured.

* Huclya loses her physical freedom and becomes Lich and assaults Aethec and Rheraen.
* Aethec defeats Huclya, and with Huclya's death, her undead also disappear.
* In Weldyn, the completion of Caraennyn's study of the Scepter of Fire is reported; Caraennyn slays Blybryn and takes over Wesnoth.

I have released version 0.0.3. In addition to important fixes to the storyline, I also made some gameplay balancing adjustments!

Changelog

* Newly S3 has been added.
* The setting at the start of the narrative is now Tath instead of Weldyn. This is to allow for more natural progression of the story that follows.
* English text was polished to make it more archaic.

* Adjustments were made to the units (Huclya and the Skeleton Archers). The attacks have been slightly reduced.
* Other adjustments were made to enemy gold.

Why exactly do the Skeleton Archers have the vanguard trait?

Personally I think the story lacks credibility. The prose does not quite fit the characters and the situations.
(I do like the idea of AU wesnoth where Konrad lost though)

In short, he is inactive. I had been personally interacting with him in the Japanese community, but he has disappeared. So I think the campaign is being abandoned.
