Leadership ability for troll hero and great troll

Troll hero and great troll are mostly portayed as leaders of their clan. I propose give them leadership ability.

I agree it would be nice to give them something a little unique, to help them feel special. Right now they're just "troll, but better"

Fact, at least great troll got different icon then troll warrior finally. Trolls currently don't have commander units but why not change it?

This would require a lot of rebalancing. Although I am not sure they are recrutable in mp. Then that would be fine.

This unit is usually an enemy leader. AI cannot use leadership efficiently (and that is not going to change either). Something else would be better.

That depend on campaining. As something else I can propose protection or steadfast.

I personally like the idea of +12 regen (at the cost of reduced damage). From the unit description: "some trolls are born with an exceptional share of the strength and vitality that characterizes their race" - to me, that sounds like it would match up thematically with boosted regeneration. And the AI would have no issue using it.

Or maybe it could have a weak fire attack. Shamans seem to be respected so a troll that is strong and can use magic would be a great leader

That would can be for advance of troll shaman but I don't think great troll's role would fit it.
