Menu: Status: Scenario Settings. Whenever I look, "Gold per village" always is 1.

is set in game_configs. It's 1 GPV unless the scenario designer changes it for a side/sidesCreator of "War of Legends"

I assumed that if villages were worth 2 or more gold per turn, then it would say so. It doesn't.

I tried adding
village_gold=2
to the WML Guide campaign, and it works for me:- Lord-Knightmare

I believe what he meant is a UX solution. As in, he wants an objective note to say GPV is not the standardized 1 GPV. Doesn't seem practically worth doing IMHO, as the status table indicates it already.I tried addingvillage_gold=2
to the WML Guide campaign, and it works for me:
