Okay, so I have a question. When 1.14 is eventually released, will the 1.12 version also be patched with security update? Or is it getting ditched entirely?

Hi!
I am having trouble getting the packages downloaded.
The app installs fine, but then only gets errors when trying.
I went through the FAQ, and tried manually downloading the zip files, and placed them in Android/data, but with no results.
My phone is model SM-G386T running android 4.4.2, and I am trying to run 1.14
What can I try next?
Thanks!

Just put them on your sd card, not in the android/data folder, then when you open the app select the packages you have downloaded in the download menu. İt will unpack and install them. Also leave the files zipped, do not unzip them. Hope it helps.

That seems unlikely, this is just a android port of each build, so unless the main developers patch 1.12 then I don't think that it will happen.

I can't find any folder labelled sd card. The android/data folder is the one that seemed most appropriate, since when I download files to my device and select 'save to sd card' that is where they end up.
Really not sure why that is...
EDIT: Figured out why. I do not have an SD card in my phone. I guess that should have been obvious. Is there an alternative?

Try to leave the files in the device storage, along with downloads and other folders. Maybe it might pick it up, I am not sure though.

Alep the port maintainer would know best, he hasn't been active lately though, but hopefully he will check the thread soon.

Hello,
I can't login to lobby because my login contains invalid characters said the wesnoth's message and the login must be alpha-numeric. Tuesday, I was able to play online.
As I can login with my computer, the issue is maybe with android.
I create a login alpha-numeric but the same message appears.
Wednesday my son played offline with his name. I modified to my login and I can't login.

Strange, have you tried logging in with another account on android? As you said, perhaps it could be an android bug, Alep would know best.

I'm back again.
I fixed the download problem by buying an sdcard.
Now, however, the app crashes as soon as I get past the config stuff and finish or skip the tutorial.

Hi Alep would know best as he is the porter of the android app, what are your specifications? Do you have any crash messages or report?
