Playing against the AI on big maps is something completely different than playing humans on maps, whose difficulty

can be hardly estimated by someone who is obviously not a top tier player on Isar. So what are we talking about - at all? That it doesn't

require "any skill" - while defeating an Automat?


Please don't try to rate up PvE or judge a game by the number of pieces or the size of the board. That is no way to go. Coordinating two sides

in the most effective way to defeat another actual intelligent being with the same chances as you - is way more challenging than learning some patterns

to beat up a stupidified AI opponent. Even if they

consist of fewer pieces than 20. I can show you chess positions with less than 5 pieces each side you will not be capable of solving under an hour,

So these are other disciplines. I have some (limited) respect for players who play PvE, but I have even more respect for ladder

gaming, which I don't do for the sole reason that after my "career" in Axis and Allies I decided not to have the time for that anymore.

So actually your claims are pretty ridiculous.

Edit note: Creating a map with 2880 pieces and expecting even very good play in under hours says a lot about what one thinks is "best play".

There is no definitive "best" player, because how you even determine that ?
No player is best overall in Wesnoth.
For example some players are good in ladder but may suck somewhere else.
A good ladder player can be a bad Mini Maps League or Afterlife player (Two ranked options with data to backup, for example right now the player with the most points in ladder lost all his afterlife matches putting him in the bellow average category) for example and vice versa.
If we look at tournaments then the "best" player changes again.
Someone can be a very good single player person but then suck in MP and vice versa.
Then there is Isar, World Conquest, Arena, in which a player with more experience is probably "better" than someone that is good only with vanilla Wesnoth, cause some rules and the way in which you have to play changes slightly.
The closest you can get is saying that a certain player is very good in a particular sector of the game, but you can't say "best" referred to the whole of BFW included all his game modes.

Ok then you are at most the "ladder" player, but you didn't won the most tournaments, not even the ladder ones.
So you can't be the best player ever. (Everyone can check the ladder site to see that what I claim is true.

As for Afterlife don't be salty only because you suck there.

But then there are good non-ladder players, that can play better than top ladder players, I even saw you losing against someone called Jeronym, If remember well.

Maybe good players give their best only in tournaments, cause they consider them more important, who knows.
I'm not saying you are a bad player, in default wesnoth I would say that you are even exceptional, but best applied to the whole game with all it's modes, well, and if you were a bit honest with yourself, you would not claim that

Smh I didn't used it as challenge in some games. Also played it with alt accounts, but AL sucks even matto said that, currently rank 4. About ladder isn't proving anything to you Crem-1, matto-4, tropt-7, Cari-9.
