Is it on the 1.12 server? I did a quick search, but found no results :(

I only uploaded it in 1.13 since the 1.14 release is pretty close. Im not sure if it would need tweaks for 1.12 since there is not much but simple fighting. I'll have a look and let you know. (:

Seems good. I've uploaded the newest version from the Default + Vilkai faction and The Vilkish Tale to the 1.12 servers aswell. Have fun!

Had a quick try today and the new faction seems very interesting, it's great to see new people in the Wesnoth universe! Are you planning to draw some animation too? That would be really cool.

Quick bug report: scenario 2 (liberation) doesn't load due to empty type field, I reckon this is due to

Code: Select all

no_leader=yes
missing for side 5.

Side 5 has no leader because he will appear later in the scenario. There is no problem in 1.13, guess I have to playtest it all the way through in 1.12 aswell.

When the side has no_leader=yes, will it act normal when there is a leader anyways?

I just uploaded a fix for it. I hope that'll work. And I did some other changes, mostly to the first and second scenario. Some map changes and a few dialoque line in both german and english.

I discovered an issue with the advancements of Aela (Sorceress -> Enchantress) and Hennak(Hero -> Champion). I uploaded Version 0.5.3a with a fix for this.

Hey there. I just wanted to let you know that I evised the scenarios and increased the total scenario count to 10. Means 9 scenarios for one playthrough, 6 playable and 3 dialoque only.
First three scenarios will stay pretty much the same (gameplay wise) but all further will change.

Because of that, the next update will take me a little longer, just so you know.

Good to know! While you're working on it, I was thinking you could probably make the campaign file smaller; the maps you added look like the ones from SotBE and HttT. If they are, then they both are from mainline, and anybody with the game should have it, meaning instead of duplicating them and putting them into your campaign folder, you can just point to the mainline files.

I'm not sure if by this point it will involve lots of editing, so don't bother if it's more than you care to do. It does however reduce the size by about 99.93% or so if I did my math right (which isn't saying much).

In A Vilkish Tale is just "Barag Gor" a copied version of the mainline file, but with some editing so I#m not sure if it is worth the effort. All other maps are made by myself. But I haven't thought of that, it is good to know for future projects. I will keep that in mind, thank you.

Oh. That makes sense now. :D
At this point I dont need them anyways. those kind of things I usually do at the end. I will delete them and use the mainline files when it comes to that. thanks for the advice. (:
