So let me get this straight...

Disintegrate is the only viable way to win. For seven gold, you have a 30% chance of instantly killing the enemy wizard assuming you can get in range.

First of all, how is that not supposed to be op? Are you supposed to be summoning so many units that they can never get in range?

Second of all, isn't a chance of INSTANTLY WINNING THE GAME kind of unfair? Why would you throw RNG onto THAT?

As I recall I set spells like disintegrate, convert and turn to stone so wizards are immune this should be shown in spell menu description i guess this info could be added to the mage trait shown in mage side menu i.e. ...The mage is immune to turn to stone, disintegrate etc. This mod is based on the old chaos series of games where the aim is to kill the enemy wizard so this is the whole point of the mod. The gameplay is therefore based on this classic formula.

Chaoz 1.5

I have added weapon special description in side menu and in spell list for Convert Foe, Disintegrate and Turn to Stone, "Wizards unaffected", I also added to the wizard's "Wizard" trait description in the side menu to explain the wizard is immune to these spells.

minor fix, you could use ranged menu option for Dragon infinite times, even after all mv points used, this is now fixed so you can only "fire" dragonfire as many times as you have a mv point, subtracting a mv point as normal.

Slight update on addon server following odd crash & log report of gryphon 'race' issue, have simply renamed to monster, can't replicate crash, may have been due to problem with other player...

Fixed victory conditions issue where victorious side showed 'you have been defeated' - updated on addon server.

Sight update of Chaoz battle of the Wizards (1.9.3) multiplayer addon, fog clears on unit recruit or use of spells/ranged spells/missiles.

Chaoz battle of the wizards 1.9.4 - updates include fixed teleport, renamed various macros in Chaoz to prevent possible conflicts, also changed petrify spell in Chaoz to prevent casting when a unit is on a vila (otherwise prevents further combat or capture unless friendly Mage chooses to remove petrify with adjacent healing).

Chaoz updated 1.9.6 -

Petrified units can no longer discharge/fire ranged weapons (!).
Trait 'Wizard' showing special abilities such as heal, cure, unpetrify adjacent friendly units now shown under apprentice (summoned/secondary wizards).
Note on wizard abilities -^see above -(and also immunities to petrify/convert foe/disintegrate) shown in help page/intro page.
Wizards can now unpetrify adjacent friendly units this appeared broken in 114 but now fixed.
Wizards are now immune to petrify also clarified in trait style message under unit and help/intro pages.

Chaoz updated to 1.9.8 - ranged weapons updated to allow positioning the 'projectile' (ranged spells), including positioning of bowman/dragon arrow/fireball. If you change the starting tile of a projectile, the movement is restored.
Many small updates related to the above (such as removal of vision from projectiles so they can't be used to scout).
Movement is set to 0 after discharging a ranged weapon due to above changes, other spells/summoning/modifications reduce moves by 1 as previous.
Improvement spells such as teleport removed from spell list when these have been cast on a mage already.
Armor upgrade spell shows specific description under unit graphic rather than generic one (previously showed same details regardless of bronze/adamant armor being cast on a mage).

Chaoz battle of the wizards updated to 2.0 -
Multiple firing/ ranged spells on same turn is restored (so can fire/cast fireball etc. multiple times, costing 1 mv each time).
Re-positioning projectiles improved - if you move the unit firing the projectile before re-positioning, you are then unable to reposition the projectile further (preventing odd behaviour such as projectile following unit across map).
Shortened many menu/recruit text lists.

Chaoz battle of the wizards 2.1 update -
Further improvement to projectile re-positioning and related WML, so you can move a 'fired' projectile (ranged action) to a preferred starting hex adjacent to the firing unit, restoring moves before you actually move it to attack. In this revision, if you 'fire' projectiles and move the firing unit, this cancels the ability of the projectiles already fired to be re-positioned, the WML is now improved to ensure this is now totally accurate, ensuring that you can still reposition projectiles if the firing unit did not move yet, but cancelling the ability to move those after you moved the firing unit. Without this improvement you would be able to move the firing unit across the map and move projectiles with the unit, resetting moves each time.

removed some redundant WML from new projectile macro, shortened some recruit menu text.
