Hello friends! Well, the first thing I do is to congratulate you for this great work, love it! Also, It's great that someone is working on a campaign!

I would like to ask one thing of curiosity. I compared "18th Century Warfare Era" and before "gunpowder era." Well, both are great jobs and are different. I have observed that transport in "gunpowder" really take a unit, and can land at another point. However, in "18th" this is different. You can create a transport, and then "recruit" as many units you want in any place. This is unrealistic, no? Why was this change?

Thank you!

Transport in both eras worked differently in the past than it does now, you could say they evolved different ways.

It makes it simpler and less troublesome in large maps where tranport ships actually become important targets to attack and defend since they are actually useful.

Besides, I don't see how carrying a single soldier or cannon in a tranport ship which can move around on grasslands is particularly realistic.

Regarding the campaign, it's still on the work, I have been rather busy/lazy the last two months so it's going really slow.

well ... You can be right ... ships do not look good on the grass ... :lol2:

another advantage, artificial intelligence is not capable of transporting units, but with your system, it does. :eng:

thanks again! (es decir,... gracias! :P )

Looks like I accidentaly deleted the changelog from the add-on, though it's available in the first page of this topic.

There are files with the units data.

Btw if anyone cares, I might get back to wesnoth in 2-3 months so it is possible to I'll be updating/finishing my addons then.

After about 4 years of abandonment the 18th Century Era is back.
There haven't been any great changes compared to the last version published so much time ago, just got it working it for the current stable version of Wesnoth.

I'll try to work on it, slowly, so bear with me.
